Errea Kits Next Season

I think they look great and all credit to the club for not asking Stevie Wonder his opinion this year .
If i was being fussy id have preffered a Yellow shirt and blue shorts away kit but 10/10 for the choice and timing of release .

People aren’t going to be miserable when they buy a kit. I used to love buying a kit it’s a positive thing in general.

The people buying the kits are the hardcore fans really. Looking forward to the new season with blind optimism.

I’m glad there’s a town presence, I think it’s been missing.

There’s a lot of good people/hard working people at the club. But sadly due to years of running the club down they don’t get seen, hopefully they did today.

However despite today’s supposed positivity the club is still up shit creek. And yes I do think the club shop should of been open Thursday regardless.

Sometimes it’s very easy to get caught up in the gloom and doom on the message board. I do, and there is always plenty of negatives to focus on, but today I saw a lot of positives and genuine, positive people.

There was a queue to get into the lorry for most of the day, but it moved along and folk were happy to wait and chat. There were people from the club available for folk to chat to. Andy and Amy were there for most of the day and there were a couple of players and the goalkeeping coach there for a few hours too. David Holdsworth, also, was around and stood talking to fans outside for some time.

The away kit seemed to be particularly popular, kids seemed torn between getting a home kit because they went to home games and getting the away kit because it was new and different. I really like the black keeper kit and that also was selling well.

I think the event was well worth doing and a lot of fans supported it.

Did they do goalie tops in short sleeves bumble? Or just for kids

Not seen them in the flesh but the dark coloured keeper shirt looks fantastic - shades of Lev Yashin!

Great to hear that the day has been deemed a success.little things make a big difference and having something like this in city center is a cracking idea.
I think the general feeling is that the kit has gone down very well bearing in mind you cannot please everyone...

I'm gonna buy some training kit when it all comes online

Today the goalkeeper kits for adults were in long sleeves only. To be honest I haven't a clue if that is always going to be the case or if there will be short sleeved adults coming through in the next wave of stock. I would think that would become clear by the end of next week when all of the first order should have arrived. and stock will be online.

I would say though if you really would like the keeper tops with short sleeves let the shop staff know. If enough folk ask, then, the shop may be able to get some in.

Id fair like to bet they had a few enquiries today after seeing those photos on twitter of short sleeved tops equally as smart as home and away tops.

Think I've had one top in about 20 years the white centenary one but seriously tempted with this one

Went down about 3 o clock, lots of people, lots of stock, all seemed really busy and positive. Got carried away and bought myself the home shirt

Goalie tops with short sleeves should be banned anyways like they used too or still are to cover their elbows. That's why they had padding in them in the first place.

Think it was more to do with handball. Short sleeves make it more difficult for the ref to see if the forward has handled it rather than the goalie. Also another reason why the goalie strip is always different to the outfield players.

So the ref can't tell whether a ball has been handled by a gloved hand or a bare hand???

Bought myself the away shirt today - first CUFC shirt for a while that I have really liked enough to get. I am normally XL (which is another reason I don't tend to get replica shirts) so tried the XXL and came away with the XXXL! Fits grand and is a lovely colour - a little darker than I expected but a lovely shirt nevertheless. Well done the Club!

Why not just get your mam to cut the sleeves off and tidy it up with a needle and thread. That's what I'm doing.

My little cousin got one bought for him on launch day and the CUFC badge has fell off after only a week. I don’t know how it was attached, looked like it had been glued on with a pritt stick. Shocking quality.

How many have they sold? How many do they usually shift? These replica shirts should be a very good source of income for the club having cocked it up last year.
