Dan's right on this - I do a lot of stuff to do with new station developments in my job - comms and PR for them rather than the building process, but I attend enough project meetings to know it's a huge challenge plonking one on a single stretch of double track, nevermind trying to place it on two separate lines! That's before you even consider access, parking, drainage etc.
