The telephone is fairing no better - have got down to 3rd and 2nd in the queue then gone over to a voice mail!!!! I was waiting 6 and 10 mins before disconnection....!!! What's going on with the telephones. Is anyone getting through?? It's costing every time you connect to get told its busy but then get a voicemail when you hit the queue.

I think if you press ´9´ it takes you to voicemail. Maybe if you're using a smart phone you are accidentally pressing it with your cheek? Do you have a hands free kit?

I had the same issue with the phones last week getting York tickets.

It would say i'm 3rd and 2nd in queue and then it would go to voicemail and a mailbox full error.

Doing the best they can in difficult circumstances down there. Whatever is going on with the power etc, it's not the fault of the ticket office staff.

Was taking about 5 mins per person to get served earlier at the ground. Could be chaos tomorrow - I'd get down early if I were you.

I don't think anybody criticized the ticket office staff, I agree 100% it isn't their fault and in my opinion always do a good job.

The problem is the club offered a telephone line and the CBS as alternatives to going down to BP. The telephone line doesn't work! and they is only 1 counter at the CBS which they surely knew being in town would be busy. These are issues before and after the power came back on nothing to do with the power cut.

If you think its bad now wait til Baggers and others get stung with £20+ phonebills. I can see it ending up on watchdog!!!. Someones making a killing since they moved to a national number and it probably isnt the club.

yeah, it's a "national rate number" which is between 5p and 12p pm but thats from a landline.

Can be over 40p a min from a mobile.

We had this at the time of Liverpool tickets..............remember Deano got stung.

They could actually get into trouble with this as the law changed recently. They have to display the call costs where they display the number.

Finally got through at 13.53 after holding until 13.59 whilst being updated on my position in the queue from 7 down to 1 - the answerphone kicked in with a bewildering message. I have every sympathy for the girls in the office, I know they are working under difficult circumstances and It's only cost me 45p for hanging on but....it is extremely annoying and frustrating when we eventually get a big game situation, time and time again there's a cock up. Get a workable bloody plan in place for such events and if you have - it is not working again!!! Just switch the bloody answer machine off, If you can't, get on to social media, get the word out and let people know and for goodness sake listen to the fans' feedback and act upon it.

The reason it's taking so long is if you have say 4 Season Tickets, they have to process 4 seperate transactions! For those paying by card it takes forever. Not seen that happen before?!

What a shan.. i queued over a hr and 15 mins in cumberland.. i gave up in end. Took too long.plus dog had vet appt. .. the power of technology...slows everything up... shudda b a seperate queue for york tickets :mad::mad:

Floods or no floods, CUFC are totally inept in every department. A total amateurish organisation. Every time there's anything other than an average league fixture there's total chaos when it comes to ticket sales and organisation. Until we get a change of leadership I can't ever see it changing.

Asked yesterday for a postal form for Everton tickets as I did against Liverpool only to be told they weren't doing postal applications for this game, even though it clearly states on the official site. Do staff not get briefed?

Selling York and Everton at same time was always going to be chaos...

Should've made Sunday Everton Sales for York Ticket Holders only, pushing General Sale to Monday onwards, and made say CBS for York and BP for Everton today and tomorrow?

Also Saturday pre-game as York only, with Everton after for those unable to get down Thurs/Fri who have priority?

Wheres our fan's rep - very quiet lately, just pointing out.

Not her issue but someone to report these too, however nothing ever gets changed, waste of time and i need to go through about 50 people before i can ask her a question. NOTE NONE OF MY RESENT QUESTIONS SENT THROUGH HAVE BEEN ANSWERED BY THE CLUB WASTE OF TIME.

Went back to the CBS four ish. Still 50 odd in queue. Was told if we weren't served by five they'd have to chuck us out as the Building Society needs to close....

Been to ground for tickets waited from 11-30 to 2-30 very slow and each season ticket used is treated as one transaction ,not a bad gesture dishing out free tea and coffee plus umbrellas . Utb

Things like that might help a bit CCU but whenever there's a steady demand the system/process is just too slow to issue tickets.
It would also help massively if you could enter your season ticket, membership no, York ticket no etc online pay and then print your tickets at home.
For season ticket holders you shouldn't even need to print it should just allow access if you're standing/sitting in your usual place.

Yep, no benefit from my season ticket, can't get through on the phone, can't get to BP, so will have to stand in a queue tomorrow made longer by York ticket holders.
