This deal seems to have been in the planning before the Liddle deal considering he's been here on trial, so i don't actually think it has any effect,

That's interesting. I can imagine him being decent in that defensive midfield role to be fair, he's decent on the ball, good passer etc. Could be a bit of a risk against premier league opposition though...
