Just a gentle reminder of the wise words said by this man. He had a valid point.

No doubt come 5 pm Saturday he will be complaining how unfair it is that we have a nice new pitch and they have to play on a ploughed field.

At least the floods were a natural disaster. Switching the floodlights off when you're losing?

In the words of Mr Coleman...."I just don't think it's anywhere near any shape or form fair. I've got nothing against Carlisle.I wish them all the best in their ventures and what they do, but it's shifting the rules".

And Colemans rant about playing Wimbledon away on a Saturday night ( when the 2nd leg wasn't till Wednesday night) was unfair. Comedy gold. Roll on the new season when we stuff them.

"We didn't lose"

"the pitch is still bobbly...they don't rely on passing"

"fate has conspired that we weren't meant to go up"

"there was a lot of luck out there tonight"

The pitch is still bobbly and we rely on passing... it's your own [censored] pitch you clown, if it's bobbly sort the [censored] thing out. Absolute p.r.i.c.k

There's such a thing as being gracious in defeat though isn't there. Not rolling out every clichéd excuse you can think of.

There's being gutted, and then there's talking clart. Boo hoo, wimbledon kick it long....our pitch is bobbly. They were 2-0 up, and bottled it, like they choked against Stevenage. Shame!

Maybe Wimbledon were "kicking it long" because their team realised that they couldn't pass on that sh!te pitch.

Excuse after excuse, shame about the bobbly pitch anf lights that don't work, hang on, which team looks after the pitch and lights?

If he didn't spend so much time writing for the News and Star maybe he would be a better Manager.

What a horrible human being this man is.

Yes and now they have the money theyre ripping it up in the summer and relaying it in the same way that we do every 2 years.

And if that doesnt work next year when they build the new stand theyre going to redo it completely new drains irrigation system everything taking it right back to its base. The problems this year stem from the building of the new estate above the ground and its drainage going into the same pipes that drain the pitch so not exactly something within the clubs control.

Remember this is a club who until this season only had a part time Groundsman and who still use their scholars do work on the pitch.

But having been there last night i know exactly what Coleman is saying, the bouncy pitch certainly impacted more on their game than it did on Wimbledons especially in the second half when Wimbledon went to 100% boot it up to the 3 forwards they had on by that time.

But yes you can say well thats Accys fault for not being able to play that way as well and i.d agree with that but the players theyre working with are everybody elses cast offs most of who we wouldnt even of looked twice at.

So they have been very lucky to make the play offs with their brand of total football on THEIR bumpy pitch then?

The pitch has only become an issue for them since it hardened up during the current dry spell and work done to alleviate the flooding in the winter has left it very bumpy and rutted.and all the work being done around the stadium has left the groundsman working till 10pm some nights.

Buzzer is a good lad but i would expect theyll bring a proper groundsman in during the summer and he will become stadium maintenance manager or something similar.

Whatever you think of the manager, their achievements this season have been fantastic.
I'm delighted to see them stick two fingers up at the bigger clubs even with more money than usual.
It is a shame their best players are being stolen for next to nothing but they may have the money to replace them who knows.
Coleman is a marmite type of guy but whatever you think of him, he has worked wonders there.
At least we have another northern team still in there. Still very much a southern league but we have gained crewe, Blackpool, Doncaster and grimsby and kept stanley. Losing York was a blow but we still have less traveling to do which must surely help the team.
