Wow - 'promotion not a priority'. Hmm....would suggest there was something more going on at Derby than just a poor run of results. I haven't checked their transfer window activity but maybe the Board and Clement had fallen out over targets and the way forward. I can't believe that the board would have a free scoring but losing side over, a side that won promotion to the top table with all their new riches next season. It smacks of personalities not agreeing.

Their game against Preston last week they had 66% possession, 16 shots, 0 on target. Possibly they've replaced him before they decline anymore, proactive rather than reactive. Didn't hurt Watford last season did it ?
