I may be wrong, but I assumed Nani played a lot of games for Man Utd, I further assumed he'd played loads of times for his national team, I'm sure he's played over 50 internationals. I reckon he's won about 4 premier leagues and a champions league as well, so to say he came to nothing might be a bit wide of the mark.

He's perhaps not as good as Ronaldo, but few are, he's had a pretty decent career I would say.

I never knew this till I read an article somewhere a few month back but they hate being called Sporting Lisbon - Sporting Club Portugal nearer the mark. They probably see it as the same as when some Europeans say Arsenal London etc.... Germans swear by it.

He's done pretty well, must have played in some real atmospheres at the Clubs he's been at.

You would think Ryan Gauld would move on from there if he ain't on the first squad next season, must be a buzz there at minute mind - sat top and could win league for first time in 14 years.

Had to have look to confirm it, in all honesty I never knew Nani was at Fenerbahce - thought he was best player when went to watch them and the follow up v Chelsea in the CL in 2013, may well have moved as they wouldn't meet the wages he demanded, Fener probably got more money that Sporting. Only follow it to see who is top as they paid through the nose to get that Manager to move didn't they. I'd be surprised if Gauld stayed past another season but he may like it and not want to go anywhere and try crack the first team, started about 99% of matches this season.
