He really would have been an excellent signing for League 2.

I remember being quite surprised when he dropped down to league 1.

I guess that's why we're in for him though isn't it?
Still think he'd take the piss in league 2. His right foot would be an absolute weapon delivering for our forwards.

Seem to be more excuses than signings at the moment. We badly need a winger, we are not getting enough decent crosses to our forwards and are paying the price by losing points through not killing of the opposition when on top in games.

The crosses are there in abundance, the poor finishing is to blame for us not killing teams off. Missed some great chances over the last couple of months.

He was a quality player for the Dingles but that was sometime ago admittedly. It makes you wonder why he hasn't been getting a game at Bury. I also would've thought a Left-sided winger would've been more of a priority as we are snowed under with right-footers.

Must be stupid if you think Keith is giving everything away in them press conferences. he'll be unhappy about some stuff and happy about others but what he doesn't want is a bad headline every Monday morning that will sell papers. Bad news gets round quicker than good.

I read a Northampton twitter feed saying we had injury problems ahead of Saturday, but by my info we only have Sweeney out. funny how this media stuff and Keiths interviews can get misinterpreted.

Remember seeing him play for Man Utd in a reserve match at BP when we had a reserve side. He went in hard in a tackle on Carlos Roca who had was just making his come back from injury.

Have to admit this "we just missed out on" stuff is getting tiresome. Abbott used to do the same and people hammered him for it.

Abbott used to just sign any old shite and hoped it worked, as did Kavanagh.

Curle is obviously targeting a certain calibre of player e.g. Burke, Liddle, Eagles etc. We're going to get knock backs but hopefully soon we'll get one.

Aye but if he doesn't do that there will be threads about 'why is Curle sitting on his hands doing nothing'. At least we see that he is out there actively looking
