Deleted. Any more of it and we'll be dishing temporary bans out.

We're a pretty tolerant bunch, but won't accept blatant racism in here.

We haven't time to individually email everybody, but rest assured names have been noted. Any problems, email us - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I took a week off work just to prepare myself to listen to Nicon tomorrow on the radio. What you've missed:

Barry said that Nixon was a SAINT and that he worshiped the ground that he floated over, Bumble was in agreement but said that SAINT should be in lower case. Admin thought that everything was getting OTT and deleted the whole thread.

A close escape, obviously.

Am I the only one disappointed at this? I thought it was gonna be a thread where people can ask Deano every few days if the trust have bothered doing owt yet instead of starting new FAO Deano threads all the time.

Being serious, you're right DB. This could have been handled by removing (if anything) a couple of posts, not the whole thread. How ridiculous is that?

Not disagreeing Griff but NS had poisoned the thread before today's daft comments.

Disagree. He has views, let him voice them, or should we start burning books? He most certainly had not poisoned the thread before today; you may not like his ideas but they deserve to be heard.

The personal insults were unneccessary. Poisoned was the wrong word - I admit.

His stories are as believable as Nixon's though.

Too be fair Griff, Ns hijacks every thread, apart from the Geoff Capes one, where he was ridiculed! Most of us on here are sick & tired of his bollox, but as you say he is entitled to his opinion! Maybe if he threw his hat in the ring, like Mrf, maybe we would listen. Unfortunately he just bounces around teams, spouting shite. Anyhow I've never heard of him or his hooligan past! If he's so clever he will find me & put me in my place! Holding my breath in anticipation. I'm a happy clapping keyboard warrior.

As the instigator of the thread I asked the question as a CUOSC member who hasn't been receiving the weekly briefing emails that all members get due to some firewall glitch at my end. I should have emailed CUOSC directly with hindsight ......non members should wait for press releases and not expect deano to give them regular info on supporters club business OR join.!!

I haven’t known Deano long. But, in my opinion he’s a good fan who importantly got involved and contributed.

It’s not easy putting yourself forward on all fronts. He has my respect .

Oh dear. It's not that simple DB. It's not about members and non-members. There are a couple of Trust members at the top of the tree, trickling information down to the other board members when they think that they should be told. It's a sort of confidentiality thing. Once all the Trust board members are in the loop the general membership may be told. Of course by this time the information may already have leaked out from another source, so the non-members may know before the general trust membership.

Right My Take on Things

The last time i looked this was still a free country where you can say what you want.so long as youre willing to back up your veiws

For anybody [ thats you Bumble ] to take exception to the use of a word to describe an Asian who wears traditional headwear which is the equivilent of calling a Scotsman a Jock, A Welshman a Taff or an Irishman a Paddy or Mick.is in my mind just a joke. But i realise there are people who have been brainwashed by the PC Brigade but i.ve never met a Scot or an Irishman who would object to be referred to as Jock or Paddy [ maybe think Paddy Madden did he ever object when the official website called him that as opposed to Patrick Did he hell as like !!

Now you may not find that acceptable but i live in the real world and here in Lancashire if you used the word to what i call an Englishified Asian like the lads who drive the taxis for the firm i use on a daily basis they would.nt bat an eyelid and how would i know because i do just that on a regular basis to describe their headwear wearing colleagues

So no Bumble that doesnt make me a racist in makes me a realist because i believe Britain was a better place when it was populated by White people with an with a British lineage and would be a better place if we returned to that status as quickly as possible. that isnt racist its an opinion on whats good for the country. and as i say last time i checked having an opinion on the matter hasnt yet become a hanging offence.

Right firstly Ns, big of you to answer this post AFTER griff had posted, even tho you had read it then posted on other posts (brave with back-up)! Secondary i agree with alot of what you replied to bumble, but as a clever fella you must realise that your comments on a msg board can/will offend others. Therefore you should think before typing. You my friend are a ignoramus of the highest order. You spout your shite, but when others voice their opinion you shoot them down. Personally i would /will meet with you to have a pint & discuss /argue with you. I have no clue or care about your past, i too stood against b'burn, boro, Burnley, darlo, n'castle, 80's/early 90's, but have never heard of you. Now put up or shut up you prick

Fraid i.m not going to rise to your bait Mr Mutley but i will point out a number of inconsistencies in your post I actually left my office at teatime when the thread was deleted and didnt come back on here till i got home at about half ten the only other thread i have posted on since then is the one i started on which i exchanged a couple of messages with Laffy on a subject we.d spoken about earlier. i didnt even see any of the other posts on this thread before i posted mine..

Of course i realise some of what i post will upset other people but thats their problem not mine if they dont like what i post then they shouldnt read it just like i dont with certain people on here some of who i fear are in need of serious mental health help.Excuse me if i.m wrong but the whole point of a message board is an exchange of opinions and people who know me will tell you my opinions are well thought out and can be backed up and i can honestly say i have never attacked anyone on here without first been attacked myself. Some may think i.m very hard on Deano well maybe i am and at least he has the guts to come on here when none of the other Trust board do but i.m afraid hes been mushroomed i can find out more in 5 min call to an ex Trust board member than he can from attending as many meetings as he likes. He should think on what they said to his mate Jason over a simple very reasonable poll that he ran on Twitter.

I dont need to put up or shut up my following of the club goes back to 1973 when at Kendal Grammar School and was at the time heavily involved in the off field "events" at Netherfield including the Battles with Barrow, the cup replay kick offs with the north east clubs and the two infamous games with Wigan one where we got taken and one where their team bus was set on fire.About that time i was expelled from school and started work in the family business which gave me an income other 15 year olds could only dream of which enabled me to say i saw over 40 games home and away in the first division.so you could say i was well and truly bitten at about that time i got friendly with Stubby and even attended his wedding. But i guess your a bit younger than that and probably dont even know who he was.[ Maybe you could ask your dad ].

There are plenty on here who know my history and one or two of them were even around when we really were shit and 30 was a good turnout at an away ground and i first clashed swords with Andrew Jenkins back in i think it was 1977 i know he still remembers it and over the next 20 years i hardly missed a game home and away racking up 4 convictions and 2 hospitalisations and ran buses firstly as Warwick Travel [ask Melbourne about that one ] and then from Kendal where we ran at least a tranny van to any northern game.

And it goes on but hey its late and i.ll be up all night but believe me i.ve paid my dues and dont have to prove anything to anyone so please dont do me the dis service of calling me a prick when as you say you dont even know me.

Oh and BTW you may of seen my pic on the back of that first ever book about CUFC from the early eighties by the guy who died about 10 years ago and i.m sure therell be someone on here who.ll tell you his name and what it was called.

I do take exception. Your use of words was always going to be seen as derogatory and racist. We must travel in different circles, even at cufc one long serving Irishman stood up at the Kick it out seminar talk to schools and said using terms like Paddy was unacceptable.

Regarding Paddy Madden, Paddy has always been an acceptable shortening of the name Patrick, his given name, and often used if there is an older generation Patrick in the family. His choice to use it and of course he is using it as a name, not as a term of disrespect.

As for your last paragraph. I'm sorry Barry but your own words actually could not say clearer that you are racist. If some one was to give a definition of racism that would be it! It isn't a hanging offence but neither is it acceptable or make any sense.

First can i apologise for my outburst. Second can i just say I'm not proud of my past & I'm pleased to say i grew up & now, as i have done for years, supported CUFC like a normal adult. Last i have to agree with NS on one thing, i don't have to read his posts.

No not in anyway that i can think of.

But i.m sure youre going to come back with some half cocked theory about some ways in which you think that they have.

So i.ll get my first point in first with a nice example from Lancashire Police from last week

Each week they issue to the press a mugshot gallery of Lancashires 75 most wanted criminals last week 66 of them were clearly not of English extraction.

Its time we got rid of these people and gave the struggling British criminals a chance.

Is it really still impressive to boast about being a football hooligan and getting involved in fights? It's all a bit pathetic to be honest.

Nobody is boasting about it i was challenged by Muttley to prove my involvement which i did but unlike him i.m not ashamed to admit it just like some of the stuff i.m involved in nowadays staying one step in front of plod gives me a kick now just as being involved in that did then.

So no Bumble that doesnt make me a racist in makes me a realist because i believe Britain was a better place when it was populated by White people with an with a British lineage and would be a better place if we returned to that status as quickly as possible. that isnt racist its an opinion on whats good for the country. and as i say last time i checked having an opinion on the matter hasnt yet become a hanging offence
.

Well your going to be one hell of a disappointed lady when you see what percentage of voters at the forthcoming Referendum vote OUT to show their dis satisfaction with this country's immigration policy for the last 40 years so are you going to say theyre all Racist as well

Ok, I'll ask. Why would we be a better place if we were populated purely by "white people with a British lineage"? Do you not think we have benefited in the immigration of people from around the world?

No not in anyway that i can think of.

But i.m sure youre going to come back with some half cocked theory about some ways in which you think that they have.

So i.ll get my first point in first with a nice example from Lancashire Police from last week

Each week they issue to the press a mugshot gallery of Lancashires 75 most wanted criminals last week 66 of them were clearly not of English extraction.

Its time we got rid of these people and gave the struggling British criminals a chance.

Actually, I was just wanting to see where you were coming from, but as you've suggested I will, I may as well give you a recent example from me. I recently spent 6 days in hospital with my 16 month old boy who was very ill. During that time we encountered plenty of Dr's, nurses, anaesthetists, surgeons that were not "of English extraction", every single one of them was brilliant at their job and excellent with us as parents and our frightened little boy. I'm all for people adding something to our country, wherever they're from, but I'm not happy to have criminals in our society, both British and immigrants. But you can't have one without the other.

Firstly can i say sorry to hear about your soon hope hes on the mend.

And good choice of an example but i.m afraid it falls down on a number of fronts Firstly no where have i ever said that allowing fully trained health care professionals into the country if we are short of their particular skills is somthing i wouldnt approve of if done correctly and its made clear to them that they are coming here to be of service to the indigenous population as they do in Australia and New Zealand for instance.

But that said and on my numerous visits to RPH and in Particular BRI there are consultants there who hardly speak a word of English that you can understand and last year when they did a questionaire at the BRI having doctors who speak the queens english that you could explain things to and develop some empathy with came very high up the list.

And finally theres the obvious point that if we didnt have all the immigrants we wouldnt need as many doctors so with a decent investment in training we should be able to make do with our own just like the situation with the nurses you cant get on a course to train to be a nurse for love nor money [ and if you did manage to Cameron now wants you to pay for the privilidge ] because its easier and cheaper to just ship them in from god knows where and i.m sure you cant belive that thats good for the country.

Has he/she not heard of the internet and UCAS? They'll need to find a Uni/course they are interested in and apply to them (and up to four others) through UCAS. I doubt they'll get anything for this September other than through clearing though.

Aye, he's on the mend now thanks.

Yes shes been applying to them all since the bursary thing was announced because that means for her its now or never as theres no way due to her circumstances she.ll be able to do it once it comes in and its the same answer every time.Course is Full.

But that just proves my point we need nurses but all the courses are full cant they see the bloody answer in front of them Run some more bloody courses

God knows why universities have to train nurses or why you need a degree to do the job when most of them just leave and use the degree to get another job because they cant hack the long hours as they bring up a family.

Give me a nurse with No Degree but an empathy for the job over one who got her degree but who now hates her job and is looking for the first opportunity to get out either to go abroad [ 25% of nurses in Australia were trained in the UK ] or to another industry.

PS Sorry for the rant Chester

so that must mean 9 of them were?
so what you saying? if we were an all white country there wouldn't be need for a top 75, maybe just a top 10?

No what i.m saying is that 88% of serious crime in this country is now committed by non British people if you extrapolate it from those figures

I take it you didnt see the report on TV today about the prison where over 80% of the inmates are Muslim and they allow radical preachers in to educate them in the jhead.

The prison has to shut down on a Friday to carry out the logistics of getting 400 of them to the Mosque.Total Madness it.ll be some EU regulation no doubt.

It's actually laughable you just quoted 88% based on your minuscule data that isn't even verified.

Half the time I think your just a wind up merchant and say things to rile people up, but you certainly are not the message board/CUFC godfather, when you don't use that persona you have some decent opinions and questions. Just because you done this or that in the 70s,80s and 90s it doesn't mean you can Lord it over people and spit out some of the stupid threats/insults that you often issue. Any time your challenged on why you don't use this inside information or know how to remove the board you hide behind the well I've served my time excuse, which doesn't make any sense.

I know in my wife's field they're certainly scrapping bursaries for the next progression up plus the only course is at London so she gave up on it a while back.

A................Point taken but the post was in relation to someone i know who is female.

B................Having had [ the last time i was in hospital ] the hospital ward nurses work rota system explained to me i can assure you that it would be totally impossible for any family unit with kids to function with both partners working.

At one point yesterday 5 of the top 6 threads had a last post from NorthernSoul. Dominating the board like Gary Dicker dominates a midfield.
