If he made an ill-judged remark he should apologise and that be an end to it.. Even if you were to analyse what he is alleged to have said it doesn't constitute a logical joke - simply a bit of Gazza's stock-in-trade daftness. Count me in for any crowdfunding towards his defence costs.

You.ll note that the CPS WONT confirm the the complainant WASNT the security guy concerned but just some PC Dogooder who probrably wasnt even present.because that would just make their decision look even more stupid than it already does.

People shouldn't be excused from their actions just because they are 'daft'.

True Deckchair, I'm not excusing Gazza. Racial abuse should not be tolerated. However there is a grey area where a remark can be ill-judged yet not abusive where a person of normal intelligence would have the self-restraint not to make it yet someone like Gazza might say something without realising it could be offensive or badly received. An apology is all that is needed here not the expense of a magistrates court appearance and waste of CPS time.

If the guy had a problem with something Gazza had said he should have done something about it he didnt so clearly he carnt of had a problem.

Clearly just a case of some shit stirring do gooder poking their nose in. The CPS were right to throw it out in the first case and should of stuck to the guns.
