A Morecambe fan I know reckons were interested in him. Think he's out of contract this Summer...

Have heard similar - apparently it's between us and Crewe. They had been confident about signing him but seems he may be keen on joining us now.

Would be delighted if we got him.

I've heard he's going to Portsmouth.

I'd love him to come here mind. Quality player.

The only thing that puts doubt on the Portsmouth rumours for me is the fact that their manager got rid of Devitt when he was at Chesterfield. But if they are interested he'll surely go there.

This is a great signing this.

I honestly think we will get promoted next season.

It's definitely going well with these potentially brilliant signings

We lacked creativity last season, so we've signed 2 of the leagues best creative players in Devitt and Adams.

Credit to Curle/Dykes. Excellent work so far.

Brilliant signing, he tore us apart last season.

Love how Curle and Dykes are signing players who are proven at L2 level, if they can gel next year then we're looking very good for promotion.

True fact- Abbott tried to sign him on-loan from Hull circa 2010-ish.

KC and his team certainly make Abbott and Kav look truly awful in the transfer market. Very excited about next season now! Fantastic work by blues.

I do believe that a couple of good signings can influence more good signings. Signal of intent etc etc. Can't wait to see who's next!

If we are signing up all players that played well against us, last season, there's a way to go yet!

Couple of strikers a centre back and McQueen/Miller signing and we would be looking good for a promotion push if they all gel.

Kevin Ellison was their best player at BP. He'd come for £400 a week and he's only 43!

Devitt and Adams were 1st and 3rd in the league for assists last season. Unbelievable signing.

Great signing and exactly the type of player we need.

Any striker would love to have the supply these two and Grainger offer. Maybe getting these signed up early will give KC a better chance to sign a striker who is maybe not quite convinced. Clever strategy.

What wins you this division is having a decent squad with 3/4 top quality players for this level.

We got excited 2 years ago when we signed Danny Kearns, Billy Paynter et al, so we have to be a little careful, but signing the 1st and 3rd top assist makers from last season doesn't half show signs of a team that could win this league.

What impresses me the most about all of these signings is that none of them have been released and they were all still wanted by their clubs. Exceptional work by Dykes and Curle so far; hats off to them. I'm sure there will be more to come.

It really does make a mockery of a) Abbott/Kavanagh and b) those who think that all footballers talk to each other and don't want to come here because Curle didn't get on with Billy Paynter and Anthony Griffith.

Excellent news this. You'd have to be f*cked on acid to think that Abbott was any better than Curle. If this was Abbott we wouldn't have any had signings now, we'd just be signing some utter sh*te a week before the window closes.

Still waiting to hear what's happened to all this "players talk to each other" b*llocks and that no one decent would sign for us while Curle is in charge because of all the model pros that he has alienated. Also keen to hear why the much maligned Griffiths interview hasn't put anyone off after he lifted the lid on what a shambles of an outfit that Curle is running.

Did Griffith actually do a scathing interview? Don't recall anything ever being said, he seemed to just disappear quietly.

If someone can put a link up of this interview it would be appreciated. I'm interested to read it but can't seem to find it through Google.

Superb signing this I can't remember the last time I seen a player destroy us as Devitt did last season and then sign the summer after !!

Griffith was a waste of space. Main attribute seemed to be waving his arms about. Might have been a footballer in there but it sure didn't show with us.
