Interested to see what Curle does with McQ assuming he re-signs. McQueen looks like a player who isn't that great at tackling, passing or crossing but he is still a pretty good player- the overall performance is greater than the individual parts. I really hope he pushes on this season and becomes a first team regular. My only concern is that to do that he has to be a regular starter and assuming Tom Miller is the first choice right back where will he start? I personally would have played him in place of Luke Joyce at defensive midfielder because I think he plays best when he is breaking up quick opposition counters but we have signed Penn now so I guess he won't play there. Just wonder how we get the best out of him next year

I think Mcqueen would be better suited further up the pitch but he is a half decent right back, main thing with him is there is a lot of potential there. He's away to the Euro's now so god knows when we'll find out about his future

Part of the problem with the likes of McQueen is not getting regular games with having no reserve side, so fringe players, players coming back from injury and even the chance to play trailists is lost. A player may be fit but they can lose out on match fitness. Shame we can't just adopt a club in a lower league if the standard is reasonable and be able to give players regular games.

Didn't the FA suggest premier league teams do that under the 'B Team' proposals ? We basically already can do it though with Barrow and Workington.

How many of the bounce games do we play over a season ? They will serve the same purpose won't they ?

The bounce games are ok but there are not enough plus they are not competitive games.

Bounce games are irregular, littered with Trialists - Hiya Pedro - or players coming back from injury, and we only seem to play the same teams...

Mcqueen would be better getting a loan to another league 2 side than going down into non league, his game just would not suit it at all.

Right winger for me, he looks pacy enough to go past most of league 2 defenders and when he got a few games in he was firing some decent balls over
