TheLazyLewisGuy Offline Bench Warmer Posts: 1055 Likes received: 168	In pre season he was showing flashes of skill and flair but as time went on we realised all he was doing step overs and flick that were tottaly unnecessary, He would never beat a man. a five yard pass would have been a better option most times. If Coleman can get workrate out of him then he could be a decent signing for them. hope he does well.

I know folk will believe I'm saying this because he was foreign had a weird haircut and flash boots but I don't think we got the best out of him. Aye he should have played it simpler at times but in the early part of the season especially he just seemed on a different wavelength. I can remember AFC Wimbledon at home when he tracked their winger back into our half won the ball back and was facing our goal. Think it was Joyce and Grainger stood by whilst two of their lads closed him down and neither anticipated the piece of skill he produced to get the ball to them which resulted in their lad stealing it. Maybe he needs to realise he's in league 2 for a reason but I thought there was more in there..... Having said all that i think Devitt and Adams are far better players, good luck to him though.

Wasn't at Wycombe or Stevenage, so couldn't comment, but he was dire at Barnet.

This. I'd argue he's one of the most-overrated players we've had in a long time. Some nice touches and bits of skill but bar setting up Asamoah at Anfield, zero end product. Maybe could have been played down the middle more but clearly didn't do enough to warrant an opportunity.

He produced virtually nothing of any note for us last season other than the odd nice turn or little back heel. Edited to add he did have 1 assist in the cup at Liverpool... did he get any other assists or goals? In my mind he didn't.

He was the only play maker we had, unfortunately for what ever reason it didn't work out , that combined with us not bringing in a replacement of his type I believe cost us that play off place.. Think there is a decent player in there it's just getting it onto the playing field.
