I'll be right across social media (persicope, snapchat, ebay and the like) updating everyone as the day progresses. Let's hope the pies are reasonably priced and that some coffin dodging auld birds haven't nicked me place in the paddock or there'll be trouble.

With a line-up of The Boomtown Rats, Rick Astley, ABC, The Stars From The Commitments, The Rezillos, and The Dangleberries I'm not sure why the £45 tickets proved hard to shift.

I Spoke to some people from Chorley afterwards who were telling me it was one of the best gigs they had been to following Rod around the UK. The stewarding was friendly, helpful and efficient, the stadium was a good location from town & really well prepared, gettin refreshments was reasonable waiting times.
My reply was how can they do that for 18,000 people yet on a Saturday they struggle with a crowd of 4000 week in week out for the last 5years.

A lot of positives for the City yesterday from this event bringing a lot of people in from further afield, hopefully putting Brunton Park on the radar for future Summer gigs.
