I was going to put
5 changes
1-1
Neither Paynter or Jabo will score and Kennedy will get ours. I think Grainger is better utilised in the role he's playing today.

I agree. His best attribute is his left foot. Hopefully he'll get the chance to put some quality deliveries in from the left.
Only concern really in his lack of pace for getting up and down that side.

Like that Starting 11.

Dicker unlucky not to start mind. Think Rigg will cause problems today and Grainger can ping some in from out wide for Ibehre.

Paynter is bound to score though, already put £5 on it.

Don't see any way we can lose today. Rigg was great there last season so hopefully same again today then bring on Degsy late on to score a brace and make it 6-0.

Grainger left wing back lads.

If you are listening at home I may go off air as there is a very good chance I may have to knock the hartlepool commentators teeth down his throat if he keeps tapping me on the shoulder!

Away support looking good, fired up and ready to go! Buzzing!

I have reservations about this referee today Andy Haines. He must be one of the worst about and just hope he let's both teams play and he doesn't spoil it.

Who was the worst referee you came across Lummy, Scott Mathieson?

I think he warrants a starting place, but I don't think he's as class as some people make out.

We need to sort this defence out. I hope at least one of these targets we're after is a defender.

I do think that if we sort ourselves out defensively, we have enough going forward to be a decent team at this level.

But it's worrying that for the third successive season we're going into September winless and down at the bottom of the table. Very worrying.

That will be 8 different wing backs we've started in game already this season. Ridiculous.

We've simply got to get something from this game.

Winless and 2nd bottom (as it stands) going into September is all too familiar

I personally do not think we'll get consistent results until their consistency in selecting the line-up. I agree Crunch the signs are there but is the back line good enough to get us more favourable results.

No doom yet though as it's only HT.

That's the thing wukkie, there's that feeling that we're only a solid defender away from being a good team. We have strikers with goals in them and technically good midfielders. Maybe leacock will be the man to make us more solid defensive? I don't know, But i don't think we can wait for him to be fit, we need to go out and buy a quality defender before deadline day.
