Few Rochdale fans on twitter sad to see him go. A lot saying he has tricky feet, wondering if he can play on the wing?

One fan tweeted saying he was the 'Catalyst getting us promoted'. Sounds like on his day he could be a good signing

Sounds like our level - tricky but inconsistent and poor decision making. If he was good at one or both of those he'd be higher up so here's hoping KC can get that out of him. Hopefully he'll win the fans over and get that connection with the supporters. Good luck to the lad he's still young but needs to start taking his chances now or he'll fall out of the league. Good that he's a one year with an option, good motivation and protects the club. We're probably see a lot of contracts like this in the lower leagues now.

Just looked and he played 28 games for Rochdale last season. They finished 8th in league 1, so you'd expect him to be decent at league 2 level.

Reading up, he does sound like a Zoko type player. Has the ability to change a game, but seldom puts it into effect.
Lets hope Curle gets the best out of him.

I won't be holding my breath, worth signing just for that barnet though. I like how we're doing these options to extend as well rather than just straight-up 2 year deals. If only Kav had done the same thing we mightn't be in this mess...

thought we made some good signings this time last year with Grainger, Kearns, Dicker, Paynter and Morrow.....how wrong could I have been. Wonder how long until we are slagging Kennedy, Joyce and the rest of the new signings off???

Some very positive posts about him, but only time will tell.we have to hit the ground running this season.

the people of Rochdale have had many a slagging about their town, (i remember an american actor on TV acting as tourist to britain. 1 of his lines was "Rochdale? isnt that closed on a sunday?") and appear not to have taken any offence from his remarks due to the feedback folks have searched for. perhaps he just wanted out and the lake district will do it for you

Is he not a defensive midfielder, so more a replacement for Griffiths.

Sounds good. Hopefully he is the much needed creativity and flair that we are desparate for.... as long as he isn't there to simply replace Dempsey.

He was in form earlier this season then fell out of favour when Lund became available again after his injury. The stats didn't lie we were winning a large percentage of games in which Hery played. He was given chances few and far between over the course of the season but failed to grab back his starting position and looked a shadow of the player he did in the early season games.
