It honestly doesn't bother me. If they think it's a better brand to sell then so be it, let them try it. They can always change it back in a few years time it it doesn't work. Remember they did change the Premier League to Premiership then now back to Premier League.

There was a similar reaction when they changed the leagues to League 2, 1 and championship. People were saying "THEY CAN'T DO THAT!!" but most people got used to it after a few months.

I don't get why people get their back up over stuff like this, it's just a marketing exercise.

It's not like your going to be forced to call it the EFL, just like nobody forces you to call it the skybet football league now, and just like there people who still refer to the leagues as the 1st and 2nd divisions or the league cup as the Carling Cup and they changed years ago.

The change has zero effect on the common fan, other than those who like to twine about stuff.

Adding Premier League, Championship, League One and Two and the National League just bores the pants of them, confuses them and they just switch off.
