First day the whole family of owners were at the ground in a long while was the first day back in training....
His son's behaviour has a direct consequence for Nigel as his boss and as his father....if you don't think it has -ask Nigel where he's going to work on Monday.
If his son had just been filmed shagging some clart with his mates it'd be different...he wasn't though, he was filmed shagging and (the important bit) racially abusing a girl the same ethnicity as the clubs owners....don't see how they couldn't sack him.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree. Up until recently I worked for a company owned by Americans. If I had a son old enough to go to say Vegas and was filmed doing the same do you think I should get sacked? I'm sure there's been plenty of things he's done last season that upset the owners but I really dont think a father should lose his job because of something a son does that he has no control of.

Totally ignoring that Peasron was his sons direct boss as general manager of the playing staff.

It's not just about him being his son, it's about him being boss of an employee that has shown a total lack of respect in all areas, along with three other employees that he (Pearson) is ultimately responsible for...then disagreeing that the involved employee should have been sacked for what he did.
As said above the owners are big on respect and discipline and won't take their staff racially abusing anyone, I'm not sure where the grey area is in all of this...?

Didn't I originally say something along the lines of his son shouldn't be treated any different to anyone else? Therefore if what the three players did was worthy of him being sacked which I don't believe it was then fair enough. The fact that one was his son shouldn't make a difference. It isn't a grey area just our views differ slightly.
