Gillespie 9 - Not a foot wrong and some crucial saves
Atkinson 7 - steady
Raynes 7 - Won almost every header against two physical front men
Ellis 7 - Good game, Long throw is a good option to have
Gillesphey 7 - Never put a foot wrong
Sweeney 7.1 Worked hard, get the .1 because i've put a lot of 7's
Dicker 8 Just seems to settle the game down when its getting a bit end to end, Joyce maybe has a bit more energy but cant chose between the two
Kennedy 9 MOM, from the first min he was up for this one, never stopped running all afternoon. done brilliantly for first goal
Grainger 8 Some great deliveries into the box today, looked like scoring from each one. the improvement from last season is remarkable
Wyke 8 Worked hard, like to see him not bottle any challenges with the keeper
Ibehre 8 Back in the goals, his ability to chest a 50 yard pass is excellent. a proper target man.

10s all round from me.

This game was a fairly true reflection of a lot of games from this season... For us, no one was awful and no one spectacular. A very effective and efficient performance with a clear game plan based on Notts County's strengths and weaknesses. The opposition were fairly abysmal and ended up just trying to kick lumps out of us.

The most exciting thing in my eyes is the fact that I don't think the majority of the squad have hit full form on a consistent basis yet. If that happens, combined with a few additions in January, it could be a very exciting finish to the season.

Can't complain at the result but I found it very irritating that the whole first half Grainger let Campbell run in behind him and didn't follow him once and the second half just about every time County were attacking down the right they had two players over on the left totally unmarked. I think against a better team we would get punished for this. With the exception of this I would give all players an 8/10 .

Graingers man or not he was the runner and instead of go with him he pulled one of the central lads out wide leaving a hole centrally. Personally I want to see the player get marked not just space but I guess that's the beauty of the game, we all have different opinions.

Grainger is one of our most dangerous players in the forward third of the pitch, but he doesn't have the raw pace of the likes of Gilliead. If he's playing full back, I expect him to be getting back with the opposition forwards. But when playing further forward I'd rather he is just controlling their full back and letting others cover runs from central players.

My opinion is that wherever he's played this season he's been a revelation, he's one of our best players, and I'd go as far as to say one of the best players I've seen this season for any team.

Not to mention his leadership both on and off the pitch during a particularly tough time.
