Is it though? I'm sure others would say similar when we signed Paynter and not too many would be excited about Rigg. Recruitment is very difficult to interpret at league two level in my eyes, lots of factors contribute to a signing becoming a success in my opinion.

Stead would be a fantastic signing for this level. I saw him play for Bradford on telly few times last season and what a handful he was at Stamford bridge.

Agreed, looks like the signing of the summer for league 2 this one.

Having said that, if Ibehre and Wyke can pull off a decent partnership then who knows...

Stead played well at Stamford Bridge but he hasn't been playing consistently like that for Bradford or anyone else for some time, hence his release and signing for a League 2 club.

My main worry about Church is that Zoko will keep him out of the team

Can't believe Curle is wasting all of the wage bill on wingers as well when we clearly need to strengthen elsewhere a bit too. Church, Zoko and Ince should tear this league up though and when we sign Holt to play with Ibehre we'll be laughing.

Simon Church must be mad to have signed for MK Dons: state of art stadium; charismatic chairman; 5k a week; passing football in the Championship

When he could have had northern outpost; elderly dullards in charge; 5k a month; 5 at back hoof ball and bottom tier football.
