We were having a crack at work yesterday with the idea that, if you could interview anybody from the past for half an hour, who would you choose and why.
Presuming they would tell you the truth about themselves and what they knew of the events of that time.
They came up with all sorts of interesting folk at work and it said as much about them and their interests as the historic figures they chose!

I would interview Jesus Christ. I would enquire about the recipe he used to feed the five thousand on a few loaves and some fish. World hunger sorted with the flick of a pen. Simples.

But did he really like eh! Economical with the truth in my opinion. He could tell a good story, though jesus . He must be good to listen to. He would have a tale to tell!

I'd just interview anyone from the west coast about life in the 70's. No time travel needed, they're still living it.
