Oh [censored] it, go on then.
1) How does making the average person suffer, create support? It is simple, Junior doctors (like the Tube drivers) are fighting the changes we need to mover forward.
Nobody wants the average person to suffer. The reason they're doing the job, by definition, is to easy suffering. What other options do they have? They've negotiated as far as they can. The result - the government will impose the changes. What other option have they got?
2) When is everyone who works in the Public sector going to wake up and realise problems are NOT resolved by throwing money at it ! we are wrecking the NHS through mass inefficiency and lack of development. Money creates excess, the NHS is the worst example of this !!
What mass inefficiency is that then? All I keep hearing about is this mass inefficiency and how everything can be solved by efficiency savings. How long can the NHS keep making efficiency savings? The facts are we have an aging population, living longer with more treatments available to extend lives. Like it or not, that all costs money. Add onto that, you have a 1/3 reduction in the social budget of councils. That slack is taken up by hospitals. GPS unable to cope, taken up by hospitals.
3) Bullied into submission, yes, they are really going to suffer, aren't they.........
I don't know, maybe your happy for all the most talented Drs we train to decide they'd be better of in Saudi, Australia or the US? They won't suffer but this country surely will.
4) Why are we more likely to die if admitted to Hospital on a Sunday ?
Errr, because if it's serious enough to go in at a weekend then it's serious? Because people at end of life can't be admitted to palliative care hospices at weekends? Just a couple of reasons that are nothing to do with the Jr Drs who are actually there in A&E; and on the wards at weekends.
