So you can buy a York ticket today, and get an Everton ticket on Friday?

Slightly strange way?!

Are there no seats for away fans in Section 1 anymore? Wonder if we will get to general sale this time? How much is membership CUOSC and what does that membership include apart from priority tickets?

Doubt there's time to process new Memberships for this sale?

I'd like to complain about the tickets being too cheap. Bloody disgrace!

Should have been £22 and £19 as usual.

How many members are there now just out of interest? As season ticket holders are automatically members does that mean they are entitled to 4 tickets each before the general sale?

Why should one ticket/membership be able to purchase two tickets?

I know they want them shifted but surely the fairest way is one person per ticket.

1600 CUOSC members in total, give or take a couple.

Official site says 2 per card/ticket, not 2 per person.

So on Friday I can phone up and get a ticket for me and the boy for York City and at the same time get tickets for me and the boy for Everton?

Think two per season ticket is fair enough wukkie. If you want a seat next to your non-season ticket holding friend then you need to be able to buy two.

I'd be more concerned if CUOSC allow people to sign up and join tomorrow and immediately get a priority ticket on Friday. I'd've thought they should be more concerned about tickets getting to genuine fans than using the priority ticket for CUOSC members to try and increase their membership.

No different to people buying a York ticket tomorrow and immediately getting a priority ticket on Friday.

What's to say they are 'genuine fans' either?

I purchased my York tickets online, the moment they were announced. I won't have a chance to buy Everton tickets until Saturday. Theoretically there could be no tickets for the cup left by then, should enough people buy tickets for York between now and then.

Never an easy way to do this. What matters is that the club maximises its potential income for this. Hopefully those who deserve tickets won't have a problem getting them in the process...

Ideally I'd close new memberships for a few days and go for:

Season tickets
Season tickets + members
Season tickets + members + York ticket holders
General sale

I suppose time scales are short. I don't think the club have done too badly on these arrangements TBH, hopefully all genuine fans will be able to get a ticket.

That arrangement above is exactly what I said should have happened this morning. Still, as you say everybody who wants a ticket will probably get one.

They never seem to get these things right but i did enough complaining about Liverpool tickets without starting again now. No priority for the average fan who gives his postcode 15 times a year though
