Don't believe you, that team never lost.

Must have been Kev Gall's fault.

The game I remember was ( I think) the year we were fighting not to go down to the conference. Can't remember who we were playing but in the second half Adam Rundle was sent off for a "deliberate hand ball" The ball had come at him very fast from only a few feet away and he had absolutely no chance of getting out of the way.
Lee Mason went on my list, the one that includes Darren Deadman and a few others after that.

I thought it was Will McDonagh myself against Southend. Free-kick at Waterworks end smashed low, hits his foot, bounces up onto his hand accidentally ,PENALTY!
I think we lost 2-0 that day and went a long way in getting us relegated.

How he made it to the Premier Lge shows the dearth in quality referees in this Country. Who next Andy Haines?

Found a report - www.carlisleunited-mad.co.uk/rprt/mtch/u...d_150654/index.shtml

Line-ups - www.11v11.com/matches/carlisle-united-v-...27-march-2004-19552/ - Check that team out,no wonder we got relegated although we nearly dragged it back with addition of Kev Gray et al.

12 years ago!

Totally agree - I had a letter printed in the EN& S that dreaded relegation to the Conference season and I sited him (LM) as one of the reasons we went down.

He`ll definitely favour Everton all the way

Wouldn't be surprised if we heard that Everton fans are saying the same thing about Mason. He has previous with them too.
