TOPIC: Carlisle fans buy out the present BOD

Could Carlisle fans try and buy out the present BOD like what the Blackpool fans are trying to achieve granted they are wanting to offer £16 million which they don't have but would offer all the clubs assets in exchange for ownership? would this be financial suicide or would it work if a large enough supporters group got together and worked to pay off the assets handed over to BOD over a period of time to enable the supporters to eventually own the club?

Only works if the 'owners' want to sell...

I can't see how the Blackpool fans are going to raise the £16 million and even if they do raise it, do they really think the Oystons will want to sell? Can't see it myself. Same applies to CUFC, do the current incumbents really want to sell the club?

Would be great if they learned to communicate with us mere mortals and let us know what their plans are!!

How hard would it be for the pair to just come out and say we want X amount and we walk away as these pair are killing the club.
