TOPIC: Newport Game

I am planning on going to this but have noticed on the BBC website it says it's 1300 ko.
I can't find anything on the Cufc official site so can anyone confirm this is right?

This is true. Wales play Scotland at the millennium that day, so Newport moved it forward to 1pm to ease congestion around Cardiff on the motorways as the 6 nations game is later in the afternoon

Believe it is due to the Wales v Scotland six nations match that is taking place in Cardiff the same day. I think that is a late afternoon kick-off. I guess the thinking is that a 15.00 kick-off may affect the attendance, given that Newport is fairly close to Cardiff it's also possible that the authorities may have asked for an earlier kick-off to ease traffic/travel congestion.

Yep, Newport asked to move to 1pm due to the Rugby and associated traffic etc.

1pm KO means it's doable by train, can't get back if it was a 3pm KO...
