TOPIC: Goals today

..just watched the highlights - good training video for this week

1st goal - players ball watching and Kone left unmarked

2nd goal -well worked little could have been done to prevent it

3rd goal - Barklay afforded too much room and should have felt a tackle somewhere before getting his shot off.

MKDons were guilty of similar errors

First goal i thought Kone was offside but it hasnt been mentioned anywhere else so im prob wrong as usual. Third goal massive deflection so imo could have been a 1-0 defeat. If it was then would everyone still be saying we were garbage?

Definitely not offside, he was behind the ball when it was played. The mistake was Ellis trying to close Lennon down so high up the field. It should have been Gillesphey but that error was symptomatic of his general game.

Lennon had far too much space in the box for the 2nd and the 3rd was unlucky from our point of view.

Worst possible start meant we never got going and Asamoah wasted the best 2 chances he had by shooting instead of passing.

Yeah it was onside now ive had a better look at it. Was fairly close though so id have given him off had i been the linesman

You maybe should've had a word with Moorlad on here beforehand considering he was the linesman on the East Stand side.

I've seen him do it after 4-0 thrashings and actually mean it as well!! I think in a previous life he was the media officer at Dunkirk!
