For me last Saturday showed the potential at Carlisle. Most older fans who remember the old first division know a professionally run club, run at Max potential would now be mid table in the championship. The present bod are responsible for where the club is at. Mid table in the second division is nothing short of a disgrace. The bod appear to have rejected plenty of offer's for the club, which I believe proves they are in it for them selves. We are stuck with them for the foreseeable future. :( Depressing to say the least.

Now i'm not particularly keen on the premier league but its an aspiration for all clubs regardless of size to get to.

I'm not saying we should be in the premier league far from it but surely all clubs should, working in their means and potential be aiming for the top prize. If you have an owner that so despises the premier league, then whats his aim or ambition or is he happy plodding along the bottom tiers.

As predicted their plans of hiding has worked for them while sitting doing nothing at all. A lot of us said this from the outset..Really what has changed since this time last year....

These are in it for themselves .nothing to do with best interests of the club at all is it..

The potential investors need to go public about the knock back of their offers and show everyone exactly what the three amigos are up to.
If they are repeatedly embaressed and exposed sooner or later their positions will become untenable.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if something appeared in the media over the next few weeks to be honest. The trust might well have details, in full, of the last bid which was rejected (well, it was the one they found and introduced to the club). The one Mullen mentioned was real, I've heard it from more than just him, and tend to believe it, there was some thought about that going public too, but the chap behind it may well be biding his time.

But, I expect to see the owners hang on for everything they're worth. There is not the slightest chance of them relinquishing any control.

I see Jon Colman is taking a couple of weeks off and had handed control over to another sports reporter for the news and star.

I'm hoping he's taken a little time off to concentrate fully on what's going on with the reluctant custodians and their constant knocking back of investment offers...

Correct Moorlad, re the Jenkins share offer. I still don't know why they haven't gone public a variety of issues/reasons i guess.
