An adult in the home end, pays £15. In the away end, it is £20. How is this fair?

20 bar in that shithole is a rip off...besides will the current tickets have faded more since december !!

they dropped their prices from 1st Jan perhaps they forgot to inform tyhe other clubs

Be related to the match being postponed, tickets will have prices on from Boxing Day - doubt they have printed new ones for the away end.

Wazza as that is the case on Sat then it must be the same for us - it seems that messages have been crossed or mixed up. Hopefully, Suzanne will come back with news asap.

Be a get out for Accy I think with it being postponed from 2015.

It shouldn't be as the match is being played when ticket promotion/change of prices has taken place. The issue may be on refunds but that would affect Accies fans as well. I don't believe they are pulling a Barnet as they are desperate to encourage more people to support their side, just offering refunds to Accies fans would be - I believe - an absolute breach of FL rules.

We have our tickets already. I can't see them giving a fiver back on the turnstiles to those with a ticket.
I wonder how many of the 1700 who bought tickets will be going now.
I'm guessing we will take about 1000 or so.

Wazza - it sounds like you're right. Suzanne, has said that as it was a 2015 match it is not under their new prices. However, I'll give them a ring tomorrow to see what they are asking for tickets. At the moment their site hasn't any ticket info on the Carlisle game, other than it's free to new Accrington 1/2 season ticket holders. Another, fine mess for supporters. My bet is that they will sell new (home) tickets for £15 and offer refunds to any who request it. If they do and have not let the FL know that this a special promotion price for home fans only they may have breached FL rules. Suzanne, has said that clubs are allowed a few home fans only promotions.

Just a bit of bad luck rather than being out to shaft anyone I think, do the away Clubs not buy them anyway and then sell them on?

If there are no equivalent home end tickets priced at £20 or higher (for the game originally posted), then Accrington are breaking Football League Rules by charging away fans more.
They simply are not allowed to charge away fans more that the highest priced home seated/terrace* ticket.

Just go in the home end

I've just tweeted accy themselves asking where I get the refund from on the day. Might only be a fiver but it's better in my pocket than theirs

How far do you go with this?

for example could go to a match pay say £20 exactly the same as home fans but be stood on an uncovered terrace in pissing down rain with crap facilities whilst home fans are covered with good bar/refreshments and other facilities

I would find that just as annoying hence on a few occasions have sat or stood in home ends in the past

34.2.8 No Club shall charge higher admission prices for visiting supporters for accommodation that is ranked as comparable with or inferior to that used by supporters of the Home Club in the same or next highest ranked accommodation. For the purposes of this Regulation, accommodation shall be allocated a ranking as indicated by the table below (where 1 represents the best available and 6 the lowest) having regard to the following criteria:

(a) Covered seating;
(b) Uncovered seating;
(c) Covered terracing;
(d) Uncovered terracing;
(e) Behind the touchline;
(f) Behind the goal line; and
(g) In the corners of the stadium (i.e. behind both the touchline and the goal line)

(b) if the visiting supporters have use of accommodation that is of an equivalent ranking (using the table set out in Regulation 34.2.8 ) to that available to the home supporters, but the accommodation used by visiting supporters is reasonably considered to be of a higher standard for other reasons then the admission prices charged for this accommodation may be higher than the price charged to those home supporters in the equivalently ranked accommodation. Any such increase shall be limited to such amount as is reasonably justifiable but in any event shall be no greater than 10 per cent of the value of the price charged to those home supporters. In the event of any dispute between two Clubs as to what amount is reasonable, the dispute shall be referred to The League whose decision shall be final and binding.

Also in that case Hartlepool have been robbing away fans for years. I'd also say a away fan at brunton park sitting in a seat beyond the goal line isn't getting as good a deal as a home fan sitting at the half way line.

Just called Accrington and price is £20 for entry due to the match being rearranged from 2015 and due to number of tickets sold to home and away fans at the old pre-Jan 2016 price change.
