Just had a quick trawl of the message board.

Out of the top ten topics only one has anything to do with Carlisle United, that being about away tickets at Accrington.

I like the board being diverse and not only about Carlisle United but, with the loan window opening and the club in a decent position there seems very little interest , are we bored with it all?

I've been bored of Carlisle United for a long time now.
Yeah fair enough the footy this season is better than it's been in recent years. But there's no getting away from the fact that the club is a joke, I know I'm one of thousands who feel the same.

There's three people to blame for this.

Things are a bit flat now that the cup run is over, the club is back in the doldrums despite the on pitch stuff being better than the last few years. As regards this messageboard, contrast the present attitude to things with how they were when Andrew Lapping was attempting to invest, there was optimism and and an air of things being on the up. How things change! The analogue three are responsible for the malaise at the club and hence the messageboard's population also being a bit negative and inactive. :(

I'm with cocaine on this also.

I want to get behind the team as much as i can but i can't forget the useless side of things behind the scenes. The 3 owners and the trust. I do believe crowds would go up if the three went completely and we got someone new.

Theres also not likely to be any real excitement until the play offs if we make it, as we are out of all cups.

I agree things do seem a bit dour. I used to travel miles to watch a game but over recent seasons i have lost a bit of enthusiasm and found other things to do on a saturday. Yeah the cup was a bit of excitement but truth told recent trips to BP have been less than enthralling the atmosphere at times is non existant. We need a change and we all know where that change should occur but for whatever reason they are hanging on like limpets. Get behind the team yes but the change that would truely improve things isnt going to happen for a while yet.

 The clubs just happy to limp along with these clowns at the helm, mid table Div 2 will do for them, loan players cast offs and owt else that comes free Carlisle will sign. Sad when you think of the players brought in in the past, I'm not counting Abbotts prize signing Offiong in that lot....lol.

The football might be pleasant at the moment but there three parasites are a ticking time bomb. Non-league oblivion beckons as long as these cretins exist.

Totally agree with the sentiments expressed above. We all know that unless the three incompetents are removed the club will only go in one direction and is not up.
The KC contact issue just goes to show the reality of the situation and that's without the Billionaire and Blue Yonder farces.

Instead of complaining people start a interesting or even semi interesting thread. I'm sure people will reply.

Long and short of it at the moment is there's not a huge amount of new material to complain about. When there's plenty to complain about this board's busy.

The football's somewhere in between mildly disappointing and mildly exciting, and the situation with the owners doesn't look like changing.

It's February. Together with January, they are the dullest months of the year. The mild weather has meant a fairly dull winter. Colds and the like are plentiful. Those of us closely affected by the flooding are at the dull, waiting stage whilst houses dry out before the rebuilding starts in earnest. We're in limbo.

Give it a couple of weeks or so and a few wins in that time and we'll be all excited again.

It's always the same, you know the club is about to be taken over by a billionaire and you are just waiting for the final details to be confirmed, naturally there is a lull in proceedings and thoughts turn to other matters.
