As most of you know my natural place is in the paddock and I can moan about our club as well as the next person, however one thing the club has done well over the last couple of years is the fun day. The youngsters really enjoy the chance to interact with players and if it's a nice day it's nice to spend an hour sitting on the bank just watching the training and enjoying the craic with fellow fans.

It's a chance for our youngsters to feel a little closer to the club, hopefully the bug will bite and they will still be going long after the present and many of the future regimes have come and gone.

Muttley0 Offline Ball Boy Posts: 6 Likes received: 3	My youngest lad, Mrs & myself went down for a couple of hours. In all fairness it was a decent & enjoyable event. Got to have a crack with a few of the players & the gaffer. Thankfully didn't bump into the gruesome twosome. Downside cost me a fortune, new shirts for me & the lad, joined the newly named trust (CUOSC), a few raffle tickets etc. But had a decent time.

Managed to speak with Jabo who said it seemed a far better setup than similar events at previous clubs he's been at. Glad the weather changed, makes a hell of a difference. Took a bit to get going but a fairly decent turnout in the end.
