The point is we have many games in hand. If every team had played a level number of games, the league table could look so very different.

Of course we'd much rather have points on the board, but with our games in hand we could be up in the playoffs, so it's still very much in our hands at the moment. Consistency is a problem, and the reality is we'll probably be just outside the play offs once we start playing a few catch up matches. Most of us would have taken an outside playoff chance after the last couple of disappointing seasons.
