Probably a similar start to 2012...

Start at town hall
Loop around the Castle/Hardwicke Circus
Georgian Way/Spencer St
Botchergate and onto St Nic bridges
Upperby Road to Brisco
Over Newbiggin Rd to Wreay
Join A6 to Penrith

Not sure where the racing began last time but they were certainly moving by the time they hit Botchergate.

Whinlatter from the west is nothing but the descent will be fun to watch.

Depends on the stage I guess. Prudhoe-Hartside stage last year was neutral until Hexham about 5 miles in.
