I'll give it a go then.

Hanford. 6.Did ok, kicking has improved but never ever say that to anyone sitting next to you as it will inevitably mean the next one is hoofed/curled/scuffed into touch. Could he have done a little better for the goal? made himself "Bigger" As Ellison set himself ready to shoot? Maybe.
Mcqueen, 5 I like this lad but he needs to get stuck in and when crossing, ffs, lean back a bit, the ball will lift over the first man.

Raynes, 6 Nothing special yesterday but nonetheless has consistency.

Ellis 7 Great battler, great spirit, a bit fed up with the long throws though. If Raynes doesn't get the flick on, it's heading back our way with the defence still n their box usually.

Gillesphey 5 Tough going for the lad but young uns have to play to learn, better as game went on.

Hope. 5 Not a good game for him but kept trying, like most, better as game went on.

Comley 5 Got clattered and this in the end led to his being subbed. Again he's young and will have poor games/make errors. For me not the type of player we needed after the departure of Dicker.

Kennedy 5 How I wish he would get some form back, a shadow of the player we know he can be.

Gilliead 5 Another young un who when flying is a great pair of feet but can disappear or overplay at times.

Jabo 6 Put himself about but often isolated and crowded out. Our lack of width does not help him.

Wyke 6 still needs to improve but also suffers due to the lack of any width in our play.

Derek 6 He is an annoying little sod to play against i would imagine, good finish yesterday.

Joyce 6 Much better yesterday, just needs to keep it simple.

Hery 5 Not a fan, flatters to deceive I'm afraid, played a part yesterday but not as influential as some say for me.

Keith 7 He's working with what he's got and made changes that won us the game. He needs to get in some experience from the loan market before it's too late and our play off hopes are gone. Unless of course................

Officials 3 That's a point apiece for turning up. Lino on stand side was utter clart, not a fookin clue. Ref was poor, inconsistent. Not helped by his assistants.

That'll maybe spark a few responses, different opinions like eh!

Hanford , Injured himself late on, glad Gillespie is back mind. Just have a bit more confidence in him

Raynes and Ellis are solid, think get Grainger and Miller at full back and that could be a steady enough back line, McQueen and gillesphey are to light weight, maybe getting Marcus Williams in for the rest of the season wouldn't be a bad move.

Joyce showed yesterday what he can bring to the team so too Bastien Hery.

Gilliead and hope looked a bit better in a five man midfield but still not threatening enough for wide men.

Jabo a good out option but just needs to lay it off because the midfielders are right on his toes

Wyke played well, very clever for the penalty win and good to see a forward man taking responsibility from the spot.

Good ratings Pasty and give or take a few points pretty much agree. I was expecting people coming on here rating 8's and 9's when in reality it wasn't that good.

Ellis 6.5 MOM for me the rest ranging from 6's to 5's with Gillesphey a 4.

I really wish Tom Miller can hurry up and get back and hopefully we can start to repeat something like the early season form with Grainger and Miller on each side. I know it's not only me who thinks he's barely played since the infamous night out in Glasgow. He hasn't been injured all that time.

It really was average against an average team and playing well for the last 10-15 mins won us the game celebrated like we'd won the FA Cup. Performance has to improve if playoffs are remotely achievable.

First half, no one deserved more than a 4 or 5.

Whilst It wasn't a great second half performance, we still dominated the entire half. They had one early burst forward which Ellison wasted. Other than that, all Carlisle. Deserved the win for the pressure we put on them second half.

Quokka- First half was dire! We looked and were awful, deservedly one down at half time. Much better second half, but it was shit or bust tbh, we'd nowt to lose by going for it.

Gillead is a player I like and he is a joy to watch when on song but when he isn't and the game needs battlers, it is sometimes like playing with ten. He doesn't get a challenge in and a team like Morecambe will exploit him and bully him out the game. McQueen the same. A player with talent but so frustrating at times.
First half ratings would be lucky to top 5 for any of them but much improved once joyce came on I felt.
Ellis was my MOTM too.
Rubbish game but a great ending. That's why we love this game!

And why shouldn't we, some many shit days over the past 2 - 3 years. Might as well enjoy days like yesterday when we come back late on.

Going by some of the comments on here and on the other thread you would think we had lost! Yes a poor first half performance but a battling display second half deserved us the win. Curle had to change it at half time because of Comley's injury but by changing to 5 in the middle had more of an impact than merely bringing Joyce on although he did play better than against Stevenage (which wouldn't have been difficult). Lets face it despite how we played we got 3 points which in the last few seasons it would not have happened.
