perhaps he was dropped!

if all the players had to do extra training on Wednesday, following the draw with the Daggers, then he was dropped for the Exeter game purely because he would not have attended the extra training session. seems fair to me! i doubt he would have made much difference to the result anyway.

Just read about why Curle didn't disclose why Ibehre was out and, from what I can remember of the interview, he could have a point. Obviously it was a big talking point that he wasn't in the squad but the focus should still be on the game and how we played. Can imagine he was probably a bit annoyed in the post-match that we've drawn again so can see why he would be snappy as well.

Coming out of a frustrating game where we could've taken all 3 points (although also could've lost the match) I can see why Curle would want some positive attention on his players to try and keep up any sort of momentum. I don't think he was right to not say what was happening but if he was annoyed by the questions asked taking attention off any good performances I can see why he might make the rash mistake of trying to cover up what was up with Ibehre.

Maybe it's because he doesn't want to be here? He spends most of his time away from the club and well if you're after meeting him I'll guarantee you he's most likely to be sat in a burger restaurant on Warwick Road and if you don't believe me have a wander down on one of the days he's actually in the city! My thoughts are he's as disinterested as his recent performances suggest and he'll move on at season end probably back down south

He doesn't strike me at all as the type to just give up on a club like that. In fact I doubt there are many players who are as well thought of by former clubs and fans as Jabo.

Absolutely nothing at all I said my own thoughts are that he appears disinterested. Then all of a sudden he's dropped / on the bench without an explanation or obvious reason. Just speculating on a message board.

Of course they're going to ask about him - he's our top scorer and was missing from the matchday squad. All you need to say is "he's got a knock but hopefully will be fit by x match" - end of discussion, you move on to the rest of the topics.
