Your subs today – Hanford, Smith, Hery, Ibehre, Archibald-Henville, Asamoah, McQueen #cufc

It's a good job there are some shite teams this season.

Our 'improvement' on last season is rapidly disappearing.

My 3-1 prediction isn't dead yet though ;)

Yet more disappointment.

Our form is making me worry for next season. We cant keep a clean sheet, struggle in front of goal, generally lack the quality needed to challenge at the top end.

Ending the season with a losing mentality would seriously undermine the hard work produced early in the season.

Time for Curle to step up to the plate. He has his contract, now it's time to repay the club's commitment.

I thought we played ok today against a strong powerful physical side. We created enough clear cut chances to win comfortably. We had a few dodgy moments and they failed from the spot, Ellis had a poor game but overall not too much to complain about in that performance.

That lot today are the type of team that would have wiped the floor with us last season.

We really need to start taking chances and putting teams away. Yeovil is the time to step up and do it. If we win there we can go onto tough home game off the back of a win, then you never know.

Lots of good chances, lady luck didn't favour us, except for the penalty.

Losing mentality ??

Only 3 teams have lost less games than us...

we are a couple of players short of a team capable of gaining automatic promotion from this league

I'm very hopeful for next season just a few too many draws this season

Two mid-table teams not quite good enough to break into the playoffs. I thought we played into their hands by feeding the high ball time&time; again to be lapped up by their wardrobe CB's as if it was meat&drink.; Surely the way to go is to get down the wings and for crosses in creating a bit of panic.

Too much play acting going on also by both teams and I thought the ref had a good game. Good save from Gillespie and he needed too considering he shit out of the challenge beforehand then reacted too late and brought their player down. Hope could've had five today.

How Sam Wood all five feet of him can win a free header in our box uncontested for their goal is beggars belief. We seriously need to string four or five wins together to get back in the playoff positions and quite frankly I cannot see it the way we are playing.

Their goal was just shocking defending, Gillespie didn't come to claim and both centre halves left it for each other. Terrible

Incredibly frustrating that we couldn't put our chances away, but no excuses, we just weren't good enough.
I did think we played a little bit better than some other recent games.
It was a strange performance by Wycombe, they seemed obsessed with all the gamesmanship antics, fouling at every opportunity and wasting time, as if they were playing some brilliant team, that they needed to rely on that kind of thing.
Can't help thinking if they had got on with the game, instead of acting like fannies, they could have won.
Christ, how frustrating is Hope? He could have had a hat-trick with a bit of composure.

I thought Ellis was motm to be honest. Only real mistake was positioning for their goal but he was solid throughout.

How the hell did Hope miss that header in the first half? It would've been easier to score. Maybe that's why he's been shoved onto the wing as he just cannot finish on a regular basis.

Ellis just had a real off day for me.

His distribution was shit, even more so than usual.
He struggled physically against their big number 23. It was a game where Troy would have probably coped better.
He misjudged a ball over the top first half that could have proved costly.
Conceding that stupid corner very late on kind of summed up his afternoon.

I think this is why he's in league 2. There's obviously talent there, some of his ball control is class, and he's got a good turn of pace and a physical presence....but the chances he's missed since he's been here, he really should be in double figures for us. If he could brush up on his finishing he'd be a real player.

Struggling to see how Gillespie could have come for it to be honest. Was about 10 yards out when he headed it. Watching back, Ellis hadn't managed to get back from the corner, Grainger was having to pick up the big number 23 (who I thought was mostly shite tbh) and Wood was able to get a free header while Joyce marked no-one.

Have you seen their goal again? I've got no idea how you apportion any blame on Gillespie for that! No way he'd have chance to make it out to claim that ball, would've been absolutely stranded.

Joyce was marking the player at the back post - not too sure how you can blame him when Miller, Atkinson and Raynes were too far across and marking no one in front of Grainger. A bit of awareness and everyone drops back a man and we would still have 2 men spare.

Maybe just a bad angle from where I was sitting, looked to be within reach at the game
