He's the lad who scored 2 v Barrow.

Angolan born. Started at Feyenoord, played for a few teams in Holland, been in Bulgaria and Romania recently...

I thought you lot would've discovered the best site on the internet by now. A bit of meat on the bones for you.

int.soccerway.com/players/luis-pedro/68247/

He's even scored in the Europa League this season against Saint-Etienne - a bit of a comedown with the trip to Yeovil ahead.

Edited to add it says on CCU's last link he's a right-footer FFS - Curle's gonna have to give me a contract at this stage just to add a bit of balance to the side. I can't run and I'm past it so I'll fit right in. :)

If we're fortunate he could turn out to be another Zoko as his career was generally rubbish before he joined us.

Given that he's a Right-Winger I'm assuming he's Right-Footed Crunch.

I saw Kyle Dempsey with his old boy before the game in the car park. I'm surprised he wasn't in Huddersfield's squad given they were away to the Animals today in a big Yorkshire derby. He didn't look injured. Possible loan move? LOL

Agree about Soccerway being cack on the mobile too CCU, it's a pain.

Maybe not. He is Dutch after all. Think of the best Dutch right winger in the world... Arjen Robben; left footed, right winger. It seems more common on the continent for right footers to play on the left and left footers on the right.

We'll have to wait and see.

Curle also mentioned in his post match that he was set to sign a league one player on loan, he had the go ahead from club and player, but another league one club came in at the last minute.

I'm guessing it was Jamal Campbell-Ryce. He's just gone on loan from Sheffield United to Chesterfield, and Curle had him at Notts County.

I believe that there was a memo sent round all of league 1 clubs earlier in the season from Chesterfield (after we knocked them out of the league cup) that and I quote "If Carlisle United apply to sign any of your player can you give Chesterfield the heads up. League 1 solidarity!"

From scoring in the Europa League to playing on trial on our training pitch against Barrow Reserves.

He must be overjoyed with the way his career is progressing.

both goals were taken well....but how good were the opposition? A Barrow reserve side is nothing to get excited about. may as well have played it against the youth team for all the good it has proven. just like pre-season, any friendlies need to be against football league clubs to understand the qualities a potential signing has.

Just watched the trademark foreign player Youtube montage and the good news is he looks like quite a tricky, attacking minded left winger. Having said that, Kevin Osei also looked good on his montage so I won't be getting ahead of myself. Any left winger is a bonus at the moment though.

Could it be that one of Curle's ambitious signings is actually coming to fruition? After so many missed targets it would be nice to get a game changer over the line to turn the season around. 2 great goals in 2 games, how often do our current players even attempt 20 yard curlers or cutting in from the byline?
