TOPIC: No chance of the play offs!

I was under the illusion we were still in with a shout but on perusal of the league table and the fixtures I would say it's near impossible.

It looks as if it could be a high total to creep into 7th place this season which mean we'll need to win six or possibly seven of the remaining nine games to have a chance.

Considering we've only won 13 of the previous 37 that looks highly unlikely especially looking at recent form and the teams we've still to play.

Oh well there's always next season.

That's nine for me giving us a total of 63 points. That 13 better than last season which would be disappointing given the start we made.

5 wins from 9 would probably get us in there,

5 from 9, What have we had recently 3 from 18 or summat, I've just looked out the window and seen plnk elephants......

A perfect end of the season for the three horsemen, who must have been twitching at the possibility of promotion. A big sigh of relief, and they can release a statement at the end of the season along the lines of how well things are progressing on and off the pitch, despite such a difficult seasonbwith the floods. That will then be the last we hear of them until the programme notes on the 1st game in August. Screw them all!!

While the recent win ratio is rubbish, the doom and gloom merchants should also consider we've only lost 3 of the last 15.

Our lack of creativity and poise in front of goal has cost us points in recent games like Dagenham, Orient, Exeter and Wycombe. A couple of wins in those and we'd be sitting pretty.

We're quite capable of winning 5 and drawing a couple to get in the play-offs. One win could reignite the season: let's hope that's tomorrow

What a pointless exercise guessing a teams results to the end of the season. Anything can happen

Just hope going into the last game at Notts. County still in with a chance, however remote.

If we go into that game as favourites for the final play off spot needing to get beat by 4 goals to fail we all know what will happen.

Win our remaining home games pick up an away win we could do it. very hard game next up mind but put a couple of wins together at this time of year and anything could happen
