Given my suggestion on the "Programme Notes" thread got absolutely zero reaction, perhaps all the boarders out there may like to give serious suggestions as to why? Maybe it is just me, but it seems bizarre that no one is interested in vocally expressing their disgust in the current owners to them on a matchday in numbers?

Look what happened last time the directors box got a bit of heckling from a few in the paddock

Because if we did protest and it had the desired effect and the 3 fools stood down and a young ambitious owner came in and drove the club forward and we became more successful on the pitch we would have nothing to moan about - that is why there is no protest!

I think it's probably due to the fact the team are doing relatively well. Even though results haven't been great since xmas we're still in the mix for the play-offs and whilst this is still the case I can't see anything happening protest-wise. Had results, especially at home, been similar to previous seasons then I'd expect a lot more disharmony towards the directors box. They must be loving the way the season has panned out.

What have we got to complain about!

Best season for a good while.
Still in with a chance of play offs with eight games left.
Two good cup runs culminating in nearly beating Liverpool at Anfield and a full house at BP for Everton game.
First season we haven't made a loss in years.
Crowds have increased.

Thinngs are on the up! :cheer:

Best way to protest, is don't go to home games, don't buy programmes, food etc at the ground, don't buy owt from the club shop... Save your hard earned money for away trips.

As long as there are enough folk willing to go to home games, the [censored] will remain where they are.
There's only one United!

Exactly what I've done all season. Just a shame as I love a football fix and most matches are a million miles away!

This season i decided to not attend home games as a protest; the long term future of the club requires a change in business model. After AJ's statement regarding Andrew Lapping i personally had enough. The lack of integrity or honour of our board is staggering. The subsequent no show of any billionaire i feel has vindicated my desicion. This has been compounded by the on-going silence from the board.

All fans are different and it seems to me this is the right choice for me; others though are less inclined to feel that this is important and that's fair enough. Keith Curle has demonstrated that he is a good manager. My impression is that he and his staff do their bit in terms of recruitment and on the training pitch to get the most out of the playing staff. Many people hold a view that it's about supporting the team on the pitch and that's fine. For this reason people are 'content'. They may not be 'happy' with the regime but they're feel that it's okay to attend games and not give the 'custodians' any grief. I am however sure that if results were to deteriorate then protests would okay. My conclusion is well done Curle and well done the players.

That will still only work if it is done on mass, if people stop going it dribs and drabs it can be blamed on other things (economy, form, weather).

I know it's not as much, but some clubs still get a % from away ticket sales.
