Tom Miller is looking like a good bit of business after his performance today

I agree. Héry looked very good as well

Really enjoyed watching him quality in defence and fantastic coming forward

I think one more striker needs to come in as well as a goal scoring midfielder

We all want Kyle back, but it isn't going to happen.

If you think them lot are good enough collectively to get us into the playoffs then you are deluding yourself.

But as it goes, I think Wyke, Ibehre and Asamoah are decent players at this level. Rigg should also improve.

We're not going to be luring 20 goal a season strikers from league 1 are we.

its about increasing the supply to the strikers improving the whole team as a whole

even the best strikers need a supply line

teams at the bottom of league don't have 20 goal strikers because the team is poor not because the strikers are poor.......

Had Potts and Dempsey stayed around they'd probably have scored 20-25 goals between them and provided a similar number of assists. Take both of them away and we're suddenly left looking very short of goals. Without a doubt we need somebody else in midfield or up front to come in and fill that void or we could be 35-40 odd goals down on last year.

I think Kennedy will get goals from midfield. He did in his loan spell last season so I expect him to this season.

Curle mentioned the same thing on the radio and suggested he will be looking to fill the gap in midfield left by Dempsey and would want someone who can score goals. I suspect he is also deciding on what to do with Beck. He could move Beck out, on loan or permanent and adding another striker to the mix as a signing or loan with view to signing.

I think there will be another 2-3 come in depending on who leaves.

If we sort out the embarrassment of a defence we have had last couple of years we wont have to score as many goals as last year!!!!
If we defend better and keep the ball better I will be happy fella..we will score more goals as a knock on effect too

having a couple of proper full backs is going to make a huge difference and Millers long throws going to be a added bonus as a goal threat

Thought Miller and Hery were both really good yesterday. 1st half was really good, 2nd dropped off. There seemed to be a lot more determined element from defenders tackling through to general movement and creating space than at the same game last year.

Potts and Dermpsey have gone, end of, move on.

One or two players cant make a team, hence last year. Lets just hope that a better more creative team as a whole will do the job better.

(not saying I dont think wee need a couple more players who are creative and with a goal threat but the P & D stuff if starting to sound like a broken record)

Anyway, I think 5 is enough in a squad, especially when Curle's stated he wants a tight knit squad. If we're going to sign any more then we need to get rid of one of our current forwards.

Quite possibly dip into the loan market if after a few games we look weak up front..
however as said before if the defence gets sorted and we keep the ball better we will create more chances
Wyke scored goals for two bloody awful teams last season Rigg looked bright and seems to know where the net is if we have the ball more create more chances lads like this should flourish plus if we concede less the goals they score will count for more

forwards need chances...signing a player who might have scored 25 goals last season for someone is a little simplistic

im hoping a couple of these new guys will bring a bit more creativity to team and think a decent start to sorting defence has been made

Last year we started without enough forwards, an unfit Elliott, Amoo & having to sign marriott on loan after about 2 weeks was laughable after the budget kavanagh was given

Ibehre seems to be being nursed through pre season so far, is he carrying a knock, or does Keith just know exactly what he offers? His 20 minutes at Workington were good to watch, he caused havoc. I realise who it was against, but they had been comfortable until he started terrorising them.
