TOPIC: Tannoy

I was just Paddock North side of the tunnel when an announcement came over the tannoy and I heard it perfectly; this in an area that previously you only got a muffled hum and an impression of speech. Well done to all concerned. Has it improved in other parts of the ground?

Unfortunately,you can still hear it in The Warwick.

I'm not sure all concerned deserve to be congratulated for getting the PA system working. Should be a necessary requirement

I do find it funny when they knock it on and you hear them chatting or coughing.

It's still a problem in D stand , muffled and as if there are no speakers switched on ,any sound is what's audible from further over into B stand . one for our fans rep perhaps

Is a "muffled hum" anything like a "hummled muff"? If so, I've heard Savlon works a treat.

I don't go on holiday so don't know the current etiquette on pilot clapping

I do know folk have given time and effort to try and improve the match day tannoy, I'm happy to thank them.

Congratulations to the club for getting the PA system to work.... just took them about 50 years longer than any other club at our level. Next on the list of massive improvement projects is the TV's under the East stand I hope... I look forward to them showing some football around 2025
