I think they should have some mugs printed to commemorate his visit to Britain - with Chris Smalling's head on them.

I thought after leaving the eu, the rest of the world would be lining up to sign trade deals with Farageistan because they need us so much?

Obama was just the clearest message yet that the anti-EU lot are talking out their dorsal sphincters

Would the minority out mob have been saying that he has no right to comment if he had supported a British exit?

Britain are by far the biggest supporters of the US in Europe. The Netherlands voting against visa free travel for Ukrainians and the EU blocking arms sales to Saudi are directly against US policy. Hopefully if we come out the US will have less and less influence in Europe.

If you think that the so called Political leaders make these decisions. Then you should do some more research. Obama, Cameron, Merkel etc etc all puppets to a far more powerful elite. Or you can just accept the mainstream media biased reporting. Which clearly all lot of ignorant sheep on here do.

It's not only us that want massive reforms of the EU other countries are starting to dissent , by voting out we could trigger a major shake up / rethink by the Brussels bureaucrats and therefore never actually leave ,but get a deal that suits us. One size was never going to fit all ..naive politicing on a grand scale for the sake of socialism now unravelling. However they have shown no will to reform in 30-40 years so can't see anything happening any time soon. The outlook is bleak for Europe with or without Britain

Congratulations, you just proved yourself to be a sucker for propaganda. It is well documented that Obama has spent more time at work then any U.S. president in recent history, despite what Murdoch would have you believe.

No, I can see right through propaganda. Which is why I'll be ignoring the stage-managed bollocks he came out with yesterday (another desperate attempt by Project Fear to save Cameron's career) and voting Out at the referendum.

Save Cameron's career? The one he has already stated will end before the 2020 election?

He's a lame duck, regardless of how the referendum pans out. There is no way to 'save his career'.

the big clue in the prepared statement was in the 'Britain will be at the back of the queue in any trade deals with the U.S.' etc etc
when did americans ever use the phrase back of the queue? they don't know what a queue is. they use 'back of the line'.

It's not all about trade tho is it. America would never accept interference from any other group of countries in making law or over ruling law made by their Supreme Court .......he was out of order and brought in by Cameron to lend weight to IN campaign. And db I sure will be using my vote old bean ,you can guess where my x will be going.

You realise that as we are part of the EU, we are also part of the legislative to create and vote on these laws don't you ?

That's also true but some, like Mr Farage, would rather have people believe that the EU makes laws on the hop and force us to obey them, ignoring that we take part in making them and that he himself is an MEP and has milked the EU gravy train for every drop.

I am still as yet to see a positive reason for leaving the EU. Everything has been focused on the negative.

Personally I wouldn't trust many of the those at the top of government to mow my lawn, most of them are just hedging their bets to ensure cushy jobs in the future ie IDS.

Sick of hearing the arguement that we can only change things by being in the club and having a voice for reform.

It hasn't happened in 40 years.

The fantasy of the Little Englanders led by Boris and Farage is proving to be well, fantasy.
It reminds me of the SNP and Scottish Ref
Salmond, we will keep the pound. U.K., no you won't
Salmond, we will stay in EU and keep the pound. EU, no you will be out and have to reapply in 5 years and adopt Euro.
Salmond, oil will see us right. HA HAHAHA

Boris, we are great and everyone will be falling over selves to free trade with us just like in the days of The Empire. US, er no actually
Boris, EU will be desperate to deal with us. French and German politicians and others would be finished if they allowed us to leave and have the main benefit of staying.
Economy, virtually all business operating internationally wants us to stay in, The Canadian gov of Bank of England the same. Boris and crew, it will be fine. Like Alex with oil. Blasé with no substance to back up argument at all.
See Clinton has backed up Obama.
Also interesting that the brexiters on TV last night were going back to their "stronghold" of immigration having lost on economy....this is the real Project Fear.

The Brexit bunch claim that the Remain bunch are scare mongering. Well the Brexits are doing their own scare mongering and pedaling their own mis-information. Boris Johnson has spounted so many lies which only goes to prove his buffoonery and his Obama Kenya remarks were a disgrace. Make no mistake Boris has his own selfish agenda

The only thing we have with any muscle / clout worldwide is the City, sad really. If we stay in the EU Mrs Merkle will try and bring regulation to the City, the Germans do not like the fact the UK can attract massive worldwide investment (second only to Wall Street) due to the lack of regulation.

We need to change our make-up and shape away from a Country relying on the City of London, we need to make things and sell them, Worldwide. Can we compete with the likes of Korea, China etc- No Chance ! unless things change.
However our quality brands are sought after worldwide, the first generation of cheap gear from the east has been bought and tested and the verdict is ' not very good '
Do you want a future where creeping federalisation takes over our great Country altogether ? Rules, laws, regulations made by the bureaucrats that came up the European Bill of Human Rights !! and enough H&S; to make any site manager cry !
Until all is equal, Europe will never work, so do we go down or up, where is the average of all EU members ? We know the Euro is facing meltdown, our exit will escalate that as others try and jump-ship into better things (Spain-Portugal-Greece). Remember, every time we send another x billions to Greece, we may as well have burned it, as it will never be repaid. Others are still to come, how are the loans to each Country secured, by giving assets. oh and who is the recipient of those assets ??

Reasons to vote out:

1) We are a democratic Sovereign Country.
2) Our forefathers fought for democracy, and our freedom to challenge the ruling class.
3) We have a strong currency
4) We are British first and European second, and that's the way we like it.
5) The EU is about Federalisation,Unionism and Jobs for the boys, unelected people finding things to make rules about, to ' protect us ' > what a load of b@@@cks.
6) Immigration and exploitation of welfare and public services (NHS, Education, Dole, etc) does not sit comfortably with us, so it is time to stop whinging and start voting.
7) To control our own destiny and future, not by some Eurocrat from a Country with a population the size of Manchester and a Minimum wage of less than £1.00 hour.
8) We need to stop being a bunch of mugs, Brussels is for unelected career politicians.
9) They need us more than we need them
10) Restore British pride and credibility

I agree with most of that Silentone. I am surprised how much of what I buy doesn't come from the EU. My mobile phone, running shoes and a lot of my clothes are made in Vietnam. Most of the fruit I buy comes from South Africa, South America or the UK. The UK because of its history of empire is remarkably well-placed to survive outside of the EU, something none of Spain, France, Italy or Germany could do. The US want us to stay in because we are their voice in Europe not for any other reason.

What i dont get is why you need a trade agreement to buy and sell stuff with America i generally just use E Bay without too many problems.

I disagree with you carwash. The US want us to stay in the EU because they are just about to shaft us all with the TTIP. If we Brexit we wont be tied into it. Nor do we want to be.

OK cyberslob, you're right the US want us in the EU for TTIP as well. Everyone is keeping very quiet about TTIP but I see the left-wing are very anti. I must say I don't like the idea of corporate courts and don't trust the Americans. Some of their legislation is very hostile to traditional British business. I've known a couple of perfectly respectable people who if they set foot in the US they would be banged up for 25 years for 'anti-competitive' practices. One had to stop going to Barbados where his family had a villa in case his flight got diverted in bad weather.

The whole Obama problem is simple. Will he please take into USA all these migrants from the middle east and others.? The USA is a huge land mass with all the facilities to be able to accept them all.The one thing Obama did not speak about was immigration.

Well he has now. He told good old Angela what a good job she was doing and how we should all being taking thousands in like she is

But youre right no announcement about how many thousands they.ll be taking tho.

And theres been demos all over Europe about TTIP yet virtually nothing happening here including nothing on the news.

Idiots guide for immigration, well worth a watch. You will need sound so probably not suitable if you are sitting at work.

If America hadn't invaded Syria and Libya there wouldn't be any bloody immigrants! The EU used to pay Gaddafi Eu4.8bn a year to police the Northern Mediterranean. Once Gaddafi announced his plan for a pan African currency ditching the dollar the US invaded and ba bak we see the results. Same in Syria. Ten thousand incarcerated then the US arrives and 400k dead with 13.5m homeless. And Cameron is so far up Obama's arse he has to breathe through his ears.

How anyone is dumb enough to think we live in a democracy is beyond me. British citizens imprisoned by the Americans without charges being raised for 13 years, their legs broken and anally fed while British secret service agents watch on. Invasions of half a dozen countries with democratically appointed Governments. Cameron deciding that the BBC will be governed by a council made up of his political appointees. Fooling yourself

I'm sure you've made that up!! I know the EU is profligate but paying Gaddafi to do the French and Italian coastguards' job is a step too far!

What'll happen here is we'll point out all the flaws in marko's rant, and he'll amend them and eventually claim the northern med starts at tripoli, gaddafi getting $50m is the same as asking for $5bn ( www.theweek.co.uk/6515/how-libya-kept-mi...ut-of-eu-at-any-cost ), and the USA sending arms to some syrian rebels after it all kicked off is the same as invading a country (which in that case, Libya's sending of arms to the IRA in the 80s was obvs an invasion of the UK.)

Remember if it's anti-american, it must be right

Bad form from Sky,BBC (other news sources are available) to completely miss the American invasions of Libya and Syria. Although no doubt it happened, but they're not reporting it as 'the powerful elite' that really run the world, now have control of the major media organisations.

Does 'research' mean going on the Internet? I think you're getting confused with the X Files.

No, you are clearly very easily taken in by propaganda if you buy into the whole "golfer-in-chief" nonsense!

Remember if it's anti-american, it must be right

1) Gadaffi was paid. If he wasn't why is it that we can draw a straight line from his removal to the arrival of hundreds of thousands of North African refugees. Why didn't they come before?
2) There were no Libyan troops in Britain. There are US soldiers in Syria. If there are enemy foreign soldiers on your soil against the Government's will then it is an invasion force. By your definition Argentina didn't invade the Falklands!
www.militarytimes.com/story/military/201...eports-say/79115490/
3) In March 2014 the EU issued sanctions against Russia. On the eve of the vote the Netherlands, Finland, Slovakia and Latvia said they would vote against. Due to overnight lobbying mainly by Britain and Denmark at the behest of the US the vote was passed unanimously. The effect was 25000 EU jobs lost in 2 months with possible a further 200000 since. The News and Star was shouting about 48/84 dairy farms going bust in Cumbria the other week. The reason they are going bust is that all of Poland's, Romania's and the Baltic's milk and beef used to go to Russia, now it comes west. And the US? Annual US Russia trade is increasing at 15% pa compound. The sanctions designed to limit access to capital for natural resources? The largest untapped oil and gas field in the world is the Russian Arctic. It will be exploited by Lukoil and Exxon Mobil!

My point is that we are being sold down the river to further the political career of a man who doesn't even care that you exist. All he wants to do is ape Tony Blair and increase his fortune by tens of millions. If your house has to to be underwater for that to happen that is an acceptable cost for him.

I do understand. You read the Daily Mail, they tell you Cameron is looking after you and it is desperately important that we give billions to kill Arabs while our living rooms are under water. But there is alternative news out there. There are people trying to change things. If you doubt it just ask yourself a simple question. Cameron has no money for flood defences but he has spent nearly £500m in Syria. What has that money been spent on? What is the benefit to your life of your tax being spent in that way? Sigh

Wouldnt disagree with any of that but more importantly what the [censored] did they do with the last 38m of flood defence work money.

Way too much spent on fancy stone walls instead of just making the channels deeper and if possible wider.

And by regularly clearing them out if you want evidence of that not being done just look at the stretch between the two bridges by the car park that was mooted as a ground site no wonder the bloody bowls club flooded just look at the crap in the river.
