I quite like MK Dons. Nice ground, Always good to deal with. Ok, I don't like the whole franchise thing but that's been and gone. I can't see how folk can condemn MK D ones in one breath for misdemeaners in the past and also celebrate Leicester at the top of the Prem, thus wiping the slate of their previous misdemeaners.

Not knocking their season. Think it's been superb, a breath of fresh air.

However as far as I know the current Leicester City still claims the history and honours of the previous regime and to those people who took a giant hit through being paid 8p in the pound, it's the same colours and the same nickname in the same city.

With all this money sloshing about, wouldn't it be nice if Leicester and the like gave these businesses the money they once owed. It is a drop in the ocean for them but a life saver and a great community gesture for others.

David Conn's standing has gone down a few notches recently after his involvement in trying to stop a colleague publishing stories on the infighting at FCUM. Let's just say he's a touch close to one of the sides involved...

Two things about what youve said surprise me

That a company would supply anything to the value of £160 k to a football club without having some sort of protection in place like factoring insurance.

The upcoming Administration didnt just happen overnight no doubt the company will of had ample opportunity in the weeks before the admin happened to go in and take them back.Doing that in the middle of a function tends to focus the buyers mind a bit as no one particularly a football club would want the details and pics splashed all over the local papers tv and internet.

Think he better look at Blackburn and the Venkys and how they managed to get out of the restrictions that they had on them till January this year. I think to date Forrest are the only ones to have tried twice and failed twice.

But the League still have to bear the the brunt of the shit over this when they were promoted to the premiership last time QPR left the football league with fines/penalties of over £65m hanging over them and the leage said they wouldnt accept them back until it was paid. After their relegation last year they then in effect they let them back in for a 10m payment and a cut of each tears parachute payment deffered.

So what incentive is there for clubs not to find ways to get round the regulations.

You're probably right, you will know more about fridges etc than me, it was just a thing I saw somewhere
