Cameroon were chasing the game after conceding so early, with a bit more patience going forward they could've easily won the game.

Also to add Mark Sampson has fielded all but one of the squad... That one being Telford gk, which is fairly astonishing! He's tactically very sound because it hasn't been to just give the girls a run out! He'a changed formations positions etc to match and beat the opposition! I've been very impressed with him! Better than Woy anyways!

Well done him for dropping Aluko as well... 13 goals in qualifying but offered nothing against Mexico & France and hasn't featured since! Would the mens side do the same with Rooney?

She was a class above. Tonight's game was by no means a classic in terms of attempts on goal, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable to watch a game where each and every one of the 22 players on the pitch were willing to do whatever it takes to get the win.

Well, I have just finished watching the Canada/England game and having watched 3 out of the 4 QF matches I have to say I have been very, very impressed. The skill afctor on show is much more inflential in these games than the mens game where athleticism is more prevelent. However maybe we shouldn't be constantly comparing the womens to the mens game and just watch it and enjoy it for what it is. I think its been great entertainemnt and a real tonic after a crap season.

yeah nowhere near as good as they were in the group stage but persistant and got the result. showed some flashes of real skill earlier on too.
england might actually give them a a game going on both the results tonight, will be a good game to watch methinks.
