Well done Mark, you came across as a fair and reasonable supporter who has simply got to to the end of his tether. The most interesting thing for me was the time line you explained. The fact that your rant was over and you had obviously calmed down and returned to your spot to only then be singled out by the security and then forcibly ejected makes it look even more ridiculous and unreasonable than it already sounded. The way they treat Mark was very heavy handed and quite frankly a disgrace. However I don't condone swearing it didn't deserve the over the top response it got.

However it's no surprise as the owners will try any tactic to silence people with over the top reactions like what happened previously with me and Moorlad for speaking out against the regime. That's 4 now on the blacklist with many more to follow. It certainly isn't the silent minority's now!

Unfortunately I missed the interview.

I was so annoyed at the heavy handed approach that I emailed the club on Sunday night fao AJ to express my concern, particularly regarding the over the top heavy handed treatment of MRF. I also mentioned the fact that AJ himself had a track record of foul and abusive language. I also said that while the police were filming the crowd the fact that they were filming children was quite perverse.

I'll see what reply I get and if not will write again.

Its a few minutes after 31 min; but apart from that MRF should be congratulated for bringing all the issues to the fore. I don't think that the majority of CUFC fans share the concern about the owners as they watch a match for entertainment and have little interest in the nitty gritty. However, the actions at the Oxford match and subsequent coverage added to the Bell thing will have given many pause for thought.

Could it be that our mystery billionaire is from North Korea because this sort of heavy handed quashing of free speach is more at home there than at Brunton Park. Come to think of it AJ and kim whatever his name is do have some similarities of late.

Bit of an understatement to say that Mark and I haven't always seen eye-to-eye but can't help admire you for this, pal.

Good on you for giving them a piece of your mind, and speaking for so many others. Totally agree with you around all the events of the last few weeks - especially the treatment of Claire and the Bell debacle.

You came across as really reasoned and reasonable both on the radio and in the paper and they look like idiots - so your sore arm has achieved something!

Yes John we have traded many exchanges in the past few years at each other so will say many thanks for the support and kind words on this issue. .
And that includes all the kind words on here from many others too.I know i aint everyones cup of tea with my staunch views at times and the jesting will naturally continue on here,but as fans we cannot sit and do nothing about the way the club is. Plenty of opportunities have been offered to move forward with positive regular fan and media engagement and fresh innovative ideas from others sadly which have been constantly rebuffed.... over and over

Aye well, I'd put a work email address on here once for Claire to get in touch with me, the firm I work for is pretty well known, and they asked my boss to get me to remove that post (which I did, I'd actually forgotten about it). My boss told me that he did actually tell them that it wasn't any of his business what I say about the football club, and he told me that he told them to take it up with me personally if they had a problem. They haven't, I like to assume they're scared of me.

Anyway, about this crack with Mark. I agree with him completely in everything he ranted about, and perhaps swearing was the only way to get it over to them. After all we've one director who tells fans that if they don't like it they can "fuck off", and we've another senior director who calls the local broadcasters "cunts. What do we think might have happened if a complaint about either of their language had been made? Aye, that's exactly right. Nowt. So effectively they are operating like a tory government, do as I say not as I do, and we're all in this together. There's one set of rules for them and a different set for the rest of us. Am I the only person who isn't surprised by this?

What was done to Mark was wrong, they have massively overreacted, it was vindictive and spiteful and it had absolutely nothing to do with his language. They scopped him out for one reason and one reason only, because the lad had the temerity to stand up to them. That's it, pure and simple.

Well to me he's a bit of a hero, at least he has the balls to make his feelings known, so good on him.

Like it or not, simply ripping the hoardings out would leave the Club open to breaking of contract. Bell is the sort who'd expect his cash back for this...

Well thats their own fault for backing him and not having the balls to dismiss-suspend him plus the non hacking story...which im.sure a few scouse fans were not happy about. Its a bigger picture here. He should never have the cheek to ask for money back then again...same mentality as our owners eh.
