The identity of this 'billionaire' is the most closely guarded secret in the history of mankind, is protected by a cast-iron triple-locked confidentiality clause, and must not be revealed under any circumstances, lest fire and brimstone shall rain down from the heavens.

Yet they're happy for a club vice-president to tweet a bizarre and tacky 'stars in their eyes' style delayed reveal of their identity?

Exactly this. It's blatant taunting of the fans, and in my opinion is basically treating their entire customer base with outright contempt.
