Is he the new Pete best?
Really feel for the guy watching all the Leicester fans celebrating, he built major foundations for the success and finished the previous season with a hell of a run which was continued this season. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.
I'm sure he will do well wherever he goes next

You can credit him with signing most of the players so id say yes you can give him some credit. You cant say whether hed have won the league or not though.

He did a great job in getting Leicester City promoted and then the great escape and had he not acted like psycho he would probably still be in a job

The fact he still hasn't got a job probably more to do with his state of mind and people being wary of hiring him his behaviour was getting bizarre to say the least...

He was a total Nutcase when he was at BP but the place was as much a circus then as it is now.

A good coach and motivator of players for sure but put him in a boardroom or in front of the press and hes a disaster waiting to happen.

Which is undoubtedly why hes spent the season sat on his arse and although he gets mentioned in the betting for jobs he never makes the list actually being considered.

im sure it was due to his son's (James Pearson who we had on loan) behaviour while on tour in Thailand that eventually seen the sacking of Nigel.

although saying that, i feel it was the final nail in his coffin, defending James when the club sacked him along with 2 other players. its funny how the other players managed to find clubs after they left Leicester.

James Pearson did find a club, our good old friends at Barnet FC.

He'd have got a club far sooner if that astute judge of a player, Graham Kavanagh, was still in management signing up any and everyone!

PaddockRanger is right, his sacking had nothing to do with his management ability and everything to due with his sticking by his son for his idiotic actions.

He'lloyds end up dropping down and managing a Championship team, though if he spends too much time out he'll go the way of Curbishley and be forgotten whilst failing to lower his expectations.
