It would be good if they released a statement today which said that they were putting it to bed, a year on.

Even if they were keeping the charade up and spin it so that they're saying they have to draw the line somewhere and the lack of progress blah blah blah, at least it's done.

The alternative, to continue on like we're just supposed to forget about it, just makes things even more surreal.

..A best interests meeting ....the fa supposedly vet folk before taking over but they should start assessing them during ownership and look into everything ,the way the are conducting themselves.

Laffy is right though - spoke with somebody else today who has a close affiliation to the club and he too insists that it wasn't made up - people do actually believe it.

I find the response from the club in the News and Star regarding Crawley hilarious and proved they haven't done their research.

In the meeting with AJ and JN i mentioned about the billionaire and length of time its taken. I agree its bullshit but they used Crawley as an example of it taking over a year to materialize and go through. I asked Crawley and it took 3 months to go through from initial 1st contact to agreeing heads of terms!

You really need to speak to Jon Colman about changing that photo of you Laffy, you look like a homeless.

I found one the other day, may have been oxford or the game before. It was a fans pic and there was Laffy in the middle and I hadn't realised. . . . because he's changed the hat!!

The trust don't commit to anything - thats their main issue. I believe Andy Hall believes theres a billionaire, he tweeted that things were going on behind the scenes last May when the announcement 1st came out.

I have said all along that I think a billionaire or similar does exsist. As I have said before these things can take a very long time.If I was the billionaire I would want answers to a lot of questions eg. I would probably want to build a new stadium with housing and shopping. Would I be able to find the land? Would I have to wait forever on planning?What would the local authority view be on this?

There are real problems in solving problems.These people usually want answers from lawyers. We all know how long they take.I do not believe that AJ/JN and Lord Clarke would dream up a lie of this magnitutde irrespective of supporters not being happy with their management. Perhaps the forthcoming forum with AJ/JN will reveal all because they would not be staging it without having something to say to please supporters.
