TOPIC: Jabo

No one else has mentioned it, but I echo the sentiment of the article on the N&S; site. Seemed v harsh he didn't get any recognition for his contribution to the season as a whole. He was pretty much the reason we got off to the start we did. Good luck to the lad for next season.

I think he was just unlucky. Unfortunately none of his goals were worldbeaters, although none the less important for that, it meant no chance for goal of the season, and at the time of the vote a lot of folk thought he was leaving which maybe effected how many votes he got.

I don't think he would be too disheartened though. You could hear Carlisle fans chanting his name at just about every match he played, from all parts of the ground, none more so than at Meadow Lane, the last game of the season. I think that recognition meant a lot to him.

I voted for him as player of the season.

Was he player of the season? No.
Did he score the goal of the season? No.

Why just Jabo and not Charlie wyke? only scored 1 or 2 more than him didnt he? without being a statto i'm guessing Wyke played less games.
