Seems harsh because they were young lads but Scott Dobie and Rory Delap.

First time I saw Delap was that game at Bury back in 95 a week before Wembley - he missed a sitter and I thought he looked crap. Next time was a few months later at Crewe. No Rod Thomas and Delap in his place. I grumbled my way through the first half , picking fault in everything Rory did and then he scored with a cheeky back header - putting me firmly in my place!

Showing my age somewhat. Simon Hackney.... Thought he was shit and didn't realise just how good he was until he left.... Him and Ziggy were class down that left flank.

More recently Michael Raynes.... Think as the season wore on he got better and better and was a major contribution on us getting as far as we did in the cup comps. Think the similarities in both I've mentioned are that: when they're not playing you realise how important they are.
